Moro reflex
So I've been trying to do naps in the cribs and my little girls (little over month old) startle reflex is strong. She even gets startled in her Velcro swaddle blanket that i recently bought and she busts out of regular swaddles. She does just fine in a swing (turned off) and her sleeper at night (graco pack n play one).

I found the magic age to be around 3-3.5 months. That’s when my son got a lot more control of his movements and didn’t really jerk around as much. My son is 11 weeks right now and he’s starting to have a lot more motor control and is a lot less jumpy, so I expect the next couple weeks for his startle reflex to continue to lessen.

Her startle reflex is so much worse when she is completely flat on her back ?. I just am at a loss, I dread the day I have to put her in the crib because of this.

Moro reflex is supposed to go away sometime between 2-4 months. I think some babies react stronger to it than others. My son is 8 weeks old and I've just this week stopped swaddling him at night, and he has been doing fine with it. He's still in a cradle in our room at night though
