I feel guilty
I love my little baby girl, and I care for all of her needs. I never regret having her, but am I the only one that doesn't like newborn stage? I never really was a "baby" fan but I like to interact with older children toddlers and such.
??♀️I know exactly how you feel! This is my 2nd child. I don’t like the baby stage at all. I was actually just saying to my husband last night that I wish we could just fast forward to the toddler stage. My daughter is almost 3 and although she’s a handful, she is so much fun. I love being able to do things with her now (amusement parks, etc) and having real conversations with her. She has also become really independent which is awesome. Babies are boring. And the sleep deprivation suuuucks. Like you, I really love my independence and I really struggled with that when I had my first baby. I ended up getting part time child care for her when she was 2.5 months old and it was the best decision I ever made. I was a much happier person and a better mom when I was able to have the “me” time that I needed.
I do have a daycare just around the block from my house and I never heard anything bad from the daycare. Maybe I'll look into it? makes me feel better this is normal
Nope especially if this is your first baby it is a TOTAL life adjustment. Really do some research on daycares with drop in policies. I say go stop by randomly and see what’s going on. Many of the daycares now have cameras. Maybe you can drop her off 2 days a week for some me time. I had no choice with my first baby to send her to daycare and I popped up all times of the day to see what was going on and they knew it so they took very good care of her. Luckily my mom is keeping this baby.
I know you guys don't like name posts..
But what's that one baby name you love but could never name your baby?
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
So I'm thinking of baby girl names , because I pray that baby number two is a girl 👑
My son's name is Eli & I would like for her to have an "E" name like my son.
So far I have three I like
Elle
Eva
Eliza
Short, simple and unique 😍 Any more you ladies can think of besides Elizabeth lol ?
These first few months are very mom intensive - it will get better! I promise! I’m missing parts of my life that I had become adjusted to after our first born - I miss doing things I like doing. I miss the freedoms I had won back after 2 years. It’s hard sometimes, but this stage doesn’t last forever, and in hindsight, it’s just the blink of an eye. Hard to imagine that now, but so is the life of a new parent.
