My 3 week old absolutely hates being out of her swaddle. She'll tolerate it for 5-15 here and there for bath times or tummy time on my chest but then she won't calm down til sheis back in it . She doesn't mind the swaddle being loose or her arm or arms out. But even when she is awake and socializing she has to be in it. I feel bad she is in it all the time and that it may stunt her development.

No, my lo was in a swaddle until she decided to not be in one, they love that warm cozy feeling cuz in the womb it was tight and warm. Use the swaddle, its the only thing that gets my 4 month old to sleep

I do baby wear when she is awake and i have things I got to get get done. She doesn't mind that as long as I'm not doing too much up and down stuff. Haha

Have you tried wearing baby in a wrap or carrier? That might give a break from swaddle time. I don’t think it’s bad though so early on. Think about how much more balled up they were inside us. ?

At that age I don't think it will negatively affect her. She was in a tight space in your womb and that's comforting to her. She'll eventually grow out of it, probably around 3 months when she starts to transition out of the newborn stage.

So fucking pissed. My niece drew all over my daughters wall in her playroom. I tell my sister about it and she had the nerve to fucking laugh. If that were my daughter and she did that to her house I'd be paying for new painted walls!! then had the nerve to say "she's only two". (She's allowed to do that at their house) well here she got her ass busted and put in time out until her mother gets here. Now I have to figure out how get this crayon off the damn walls with out them being ruined. fml. so much for being nice!!
