swaddling
My 3 week old absolutely hates being out of her swaddle. She'll tolerate it for 5-15 here and there for bath times or tummy time on my chest but then she won't calm down til sheis back in it . She doesn't mind the swaddle being loose or her arm or arms out. But even when she is awake and socializing she has to be in it. I feel bad she is in it all the time and that it may stunt her development.

My first born loved being swaddled all the time. I would still swaddle her at 6 months because she wouldn't sleep any other way. I wouldn't worry too much about it. She started crawling right away sitting up and I know it might be hard to believe but she started walking at nine months too

Thank you all for the advice, I appreciate it.

As long as her legs are free at times during the day. Excess swaddling isnt great for hip development.
Im not judging, my first was like yours. She had a really strong startle reflex. And liked swaddling until that reduced.
I found baby wearing where they are snug, but their hips are wide open was a nice compromise.
Good luck!

I’d say if you can make it as loose as possible for her but that she still feels safe—it would be just fine. I know that they (Dr Google) don’t recommend swaddling for longer than 12 hours in a day but that’s for a tight swaddle. Keep princess happy and she’ll be just fine! I’ve read most babies peace out from wanting to be swaddled around 3 months?

That's what I was thinking but I just want not opinions. I can't find much on the internet

I'm no expert but if she cries or is uncomfortable without it i say let her be in it. She'll out grow the want to be swaddled eventually. When they are this little I think it's best to just give them what they want
