officially frustrated and want to cry.
72 hours now and still waiting on a room at my hospital (has like 50 rooms keep that in mind in L&D department). I am tired of friends and family blowing my phone up asking for updates on if a room is available I'm about to turn it off and just crawl and hide in my closet. I hate when 20 people, regardless of group message, insist on asking questions even when I gave every detail!!!!
Guess who get a to wait til Sunday EVENING?!
this is ridiculous.
@babypuppy thank you for the dust! You're such a sweetheart.
@momtoben yeah he has tried multiple things at this point I have 3 options he said.
1. Continue to wait
2. Spontaneous labor
3. Schedule a c-section and definitly have a date and room.
I'm staying with option 1 & 2 since it's my first. But man, I was 7lb 14oz when I was born... and my mom had trouble delivering me.
I'm afraid I'll have to go under the knife if she gets too big... she was measuring 7lb 8oz - 8lbs a week ago!?
Ignore the texts. They mean well and are super anxious for you, but take time to be selfish and worry about YOU. The limbo of waiting is just too much sometimes. They’ll find out when they need to.? I’m so sorry. I had pineapple right before labor started for me, but I don’t know if it’s coincidence or not.
Sending labor dust your way. And vent some more if you need to.
Awh thanks for thinking of me! It is a little rediculous. I just don't see how they could be that busy even when they save rooms for emergencies. My OB wanted me in this week and actually called them Wednesday asking what the hold up was and he isn't happy because Lilly is measuring large and he wants to avoid C-Section
Is it wrong for me not to want my boyfriends mom in the room when I deliver my son?
Does your SO ever notice?!?
Does your SO/DH notice when u do things around the house?!?! I ask because I dropped the kids off at school this am then spent about 3 of my 4 free hours cleaning the entire downstairs. Living room, dining room, powder room and kitchen. Like scrubbed counters, toilets moved couches vacuumed and mopped everything. My house was sparkling clean when he got home and didn't even notice!!! Like wtf I just spent hours cleaning u would think he would at least notice but no w...
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Will your Mom be in the delivery room?
My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.
My mom is gonna be in the room when I have her but she told me to also ask my dad to be as well. Idk if that’s right to ask or if it’s even appropriate🤔
Thats why when i go in i only tell the one keeping my oldest and whoever goes with me. Less stress and less questions.
