Hi ladies, does anyone know the validity of using an OPK as an HPT? I’ve heard it’s possible to get a positive OPK when pregnant (in fact I did with my last pregnancy around 20 weeks) and I have been procrastinating on buying another pregnancy test. I have a bunch of these left so I figured I would give it a go. I should be 14 dpo, so this is either registering HCG or I am about to ovulate again (which wouldn’t really seem correct). Ahhh!

I will try my hardest to stop after work today and pick one up! I’m just seriously in a state of shock right now...
But I've also heard of women getting positive opks right before af is about to start !! So I wouldn't fully rely on it unless you've missed af completely. Me personally... I've never tested with opks that far into my cycle .... to even know except for when I mistaked it for hpt in june...but I was really pregnant! I just see what other women have said about testing before af.
I'm so confused if I am having a chemical pregnancy is there anything that I can do?
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

Took a preg test and it was NEGATIVE! Yay! 🎉🎈
How many of those posts do you see on here? Lol. I just have a positive OPK for the last week. That's one hell of an LH surge. Just to be sure I took a test and now I can rest a little easier. I may test again next week.
*I'm taking OPK to AVOID pregnancy without the use of birth control. Natural Family Planning. I had my Mirena removed 3 weeks ago and so far no period, so I'm just trying to get a sense of a legit cycle, the first in almost 3 year...
