I'm not sure what he had but whatever it was it decided to leave again.

It came Tuesday night then was gone Wednesday all day, came back all day Thursday and so far Friday there hasn't been one sign of the puss. So who knows what it was.

@tpdc I'll keep an eye on it to see. That was my first thought since the eye itself wasn't red.

They told us to use the ointment 4 times a day for 5 days so hopefully we see some improvement. Although this morning it just looks swollen and no puss so far today. He definitely doesn't like me putting it in his eye that's for sure

My girl has had it twice now. No clue how she got it. The ointment worked wonders though

Could it be a blocked tear duct? When my lo was a few weeks old this happened to us and we got a pink eye diagnosis too from an ER dr...well a week on the eye meds did nothing but massage with a warm rag helped and it went away

I have no idea how he got it either since no one has had it since he's been around them.

After my son had puss in his eye Tuesday night, waking up with his left eye shut on Wednesday then everything going away. It came back again this afternoon ? took him to convent care since his doctor was closed after everyone got out of work. They said in a nice way so to speak that he has pink eye.

Although his eye isn't red, it just keeps discharging puss. So now for 5 days we have to put ointment inside his bottom lid.

Hopefully this clears up and isn't going to be like his step sisters was. His step sister had so many pink eyes she needed tubes in her ears. Their father was the same, so hopefully baby doesn't need it.
