ovulation test

So I took an ovulation test again today on CD 17. However, the test line is darker than the control line. Does this mean it is a positive or close to it? The control line isnt that dark though so I'm not sure. I can post a picture if need be.

Thanks ladies :) We bd last night and have been like one every couple of days or so. I'm gonna keep testing just in case though until I see my temperatures rise enough and stay risen.

If the test line is darker than the control line, that is a positive!! Get busy hun!! Good luck!

Keep testing and bd every day or every other day! If you do that from the last day of your period until your next period, you are bound to catch the egg! Keep temping and testing! Baby dust to you!

Thanks. I just finished my box of clear blue digital ones but I always tests at 10am instead of with the first morning urine like the test said so it was a peak ovulation back on CD 9 with no high in between CD 7 and CD 9 but my temperatures never increased so I knew it didn't work so I used the first response ones after that.

It sounds like its negative but maybe indicating your closer to ovulation. I gave up on the line sticks and bought a pack of digital ones. There is no discrepancy when you have a big smiley face looking at you :) I knew I didn't want to take a chance and miss ovulation like last month. I did a line test and it was faint but I did a digital one and it was positive! Make sure your withholding fluids 4 hours before and holding your pee for at least 2-3 hours also. And test between 10am-7pm. And do it at the same time every day. That really helped me this cycle! Fx and baby dust to you!
