After labor pains

Have anyone else have pain after labor? I get discharged tomorrow and since I gave birth, I have had terrible back pains and neck pains. My back pains aren't that bad but my neck feels broken literally. Nurses don't know what to do and OB said it's normal. 3rd baby and never had this happen. My meds have been making me sick ? I can't keep anything down for real. I have been using heat pads on and off on my neck and back and they help.

I'm almost 3weeks pp and still have residual back pain.

My doctor told me it can last few weeks.

Your neck pain is probably related.

Holding and feeding baby around the clock isn't helping either.

Give it some time and try to relax your muscles.

I would imagine the neck and back pain is related to your epi.  What has your doctor said about It?
You could also see a chiro to have things readjusted and help relieve the pain.

I gave birth 3 days ago and my back is killing me!! I never had back pain after giving birth to my first.  
Today it's a bit better but still very sore.. I can only get up and walk for a bit before the pain comes back.

Lots of rest and laying down will hopefully help ?

Me! Just gave birth last night. My back is super bad tonight & my tummy is cramping like crazy. Nurses said it's normal & probably going to last a week. It's my second & I got epi as well ???

Okay so to answer the first question, yes I got the epi. After long hours it seem to make me process more.

I need to see someone. I get discharged tomorrow but of course they think nothing room. My doctor said something about sleeping. I'm posting my whole l&d story tonight.

Still have contractions when breastfeeding which hurt and also my stitches have been hurting me more this time around then last. When I say hurting it's hurting to sit etc making most movements like even sneezing ? uncomfortable

I had bad afterpains and a lot of muscle soreness from pushing a big sunnyside up baby out. They had me grab bars to help push so my arms and back were really sore. Could it be from pushing?

I had horrible pain just as you explained. I was worried as after my other two i was and ready to go. The midwife said the more kids you have the more painful it is after birth. Not sure why though ?

I know I struggled with muscle pain after my first I could barely stand up. This one my uterus is just being the devil. My post delivery contractions have been worse than anything I felt in labor. Hope they get you some answers
