I’m sorry for your loss op. I had a similar experience with the multiple miscarriages, and I had genetic testing done. Turns out I have MTHFR gene mutation. A simple aspirin a day or blood thinner shots daily is the treatment. Prayers for you.

Unfortunately the ultrasound didn't end in good news. They couldn't find the baby's heartbeat. I'm supposed to be 13 weeks 3 days but the baby was measuring at 11 weeks. I'm beyond heart broken. I was really hoping this time would be ok. This is my 6th miscarriage in a row and I just don't understand why this keeps happening. I've had 4 healthy pregnancies but all the ones since then keep ending like this. I had bloodwork tests done after the 4th loss but they all came back ok. So I still have no reasoning as to why maybe I never will. The last doctor told me it's just bad luck. I'm thinking maybe I'm just not meant to have anymore. I'm supposed to go talk to the doctor this week unless I start bleeding heavy and have pains then they said go to the hospital. I started spotting/light bleeding a little while ago so now I'm just waiting to see if it gets worse. I'm nervous with my last one i lost so much blood I needed a blood transfusion. Sorry for rambling on i just wanted to update.

I've had two miscarriages the past two years so with this pregnancy, I paid for a private scan at 11 weeks and my baby boy was healthy and great (29 weeks now). I would maybe try for a private ultrasound or doing what a Pp suggested and calling the office everyday to see if there are any cancellations. It's not uncommon to not hear the heartbeat at 12 weeks on a Doppler, so try and relax (I know it's hard). Good luck mama!

I'm really surprised they didn't do an ultrasound same day. If, for any reason, my OB couldn't find the heartbeat, she always did an ultrasound for peace of mind. Baby is still very small at 12w. The placenta could be in the way or your Dr wasn't looking low enough. I'm so sorry. I hope your baby is ok ?

I heard the heartbeat early with both my boys. Not this girl though...I've only heard her once and that was around 20w. I think I had the same problem at my 12w (or 16w I don't recall) but my doc grabbed the portable us machine and saw the baby was just fine. I'm glad she did too because I had that slight panic when she didn't find it right away. Hopefully that's just the case for you too. Sucks that you have to wait so long though! You'd think they'd be able to do something :/

My gyno with my first son did that. We're supposed to call me Thursday with my blood results to know if I had a miscarriage. Never called, even after multiple messages. Finally at the end of the day Monday when asked again if I wanted to be transferred to the message system I explained how I've been waiting since last week to hear if I had a miscarriage, have left many messages and just wanted to know my numbers...she magically got me some one right away :) That ended with good news, hope you get it too....just hate that you have to wait. When I was 15 weeks they still couldn’t find my baby’s heart beat on the Doppler. I have an anterior placenta so I’m not sure if that played a role in the situation. They sent me for an ultrasound and she was there healthy, kicking away. I’m now almost 23 weeks. Don’t stress too much Mama sometimes baby’s take longer to hear :) I heard my baby’s heart beat for the first time at 19 weeks it was the first time they could find it :)

I would find a place & get a private ultrasound. I wouldn’t be able to wait that long. Good luck!! ?

I went through the same thing last week. They couldn't find heartbeat on the doppler and sent me for an ultrasound. I was lucky enough to only have to wait a couple of hours. I was really nervous as my symptoms disappeared as well. Found the heartbeat and everything is fine. I also did alot of research while I waited and found out it's not uncommon. Just scary. If its a mc theres no huge rush to get in as long as theres no pain and no bleeding, mcs happen and your body is taking care of its self, maybe they just couldnt get the hb on the dopplar my lo was real cagey about that. If there is a regular mc theres nothing rushing into l and d can do. The wait is terrible i know. Every second of the day feels like its passing by so slowly.

I don't think labor and delivery accept anyone under 24 weeks, since that's the viability time.

I couldn't hear the heart eat with a dappled til I was 13 weeks, I was scared at first aswell. So don't lose hope, try to remain calm.

I've went to the hospital with past ones I've had. But they always send me to ER if I'm not that far along. I thought about doing that though.

we couldn't hear heartbeat at 12 wks either I don't think at the next appt either had a healthy pregnancy

That's crazy there making you wait so long.

I remember when my daughter was measuring small and my doctor got me in within an hour to get an ultrasound especially since it was just a growth scan.

I would do the same and keep calling for an opening.

Could you go to labor and delivery? I would try to go and see if they can find the heartbeat there.

I would do what Pp suggested call to see if they have any cancellations. That does seem too long to wait imo

No I haven't had any bleeding or cramping at all. Unfortunately thats the soonest they could get me in. It just feels like forever from now to have to wait that long.

I'm currently 12 weeks 2 days today. I went in for my regular prenatal checkup yesterday. The doctor got out the Doppler to listen to the baby's heartbeat but couldn't find it. She gave me a referral to get a ultrasound done but that's not till November 4th. I'm worried now that this might be another missed miscarriage. This is my 10th pregnancy I have 4 kids. I've had 5 miscarriages in a row within the last 2yrs. This past week my symptoms have gotten better. So now I'm wondering if it's because something is wrong.
