Is it Wednesday yet?! Anxiously waiting for Wednesday to arrive so I can hopefully rule out ectopic pregnancy ?? these…

I have a scan on monday as iv had a previous ectopic. How far will you be? Il be 6w on monday so hoping to see a heartbeat xxx

Same for me! Was at the hospital yesterday and had bloods taken, need to go back tomorrow for more then hopefully they'll scan me. I don't have a clue how far gone I am either. Good luck!

I’m just over 6 based on my LMP but I ovulated late so I think I’m 5w 2d so I should be about 5w6d at the US.

The wait is so scary isn't it. I'm having cramps most of the day and night which I'm really worried about

I had one “episode” of cramps today. They were SO strong but no bleeding. I get really bad cramps with my period and my doctor said “period like cramps” are normal so I’m hoping this is my normal. Praying for a healthy 9 months!

Is this your first? Hope they go for you, I'm just getting little niggles but everything you feel makes you worry doesn't it

Voodoo the do an ultrasound to make sure baby in in the uterus and not the tube. I think some blood work also can tell if baby is in the right spot.

@sara why do they think it could be? Have you had betas done? They started my betas (blood draws) the day of my BFP. Just had my 3rd draw last night. I go for my ultrasound 11/13. I’ll b just shy of 6wks I think!!! My last pregnancy was ectopic. This is my first bfp since I lost that baby.

The only way to tell if it’s not ectopic is an ultrasound. HCG can rise normally in the beginning and still be ectopic. They scan and make sure the gestational sac is intrauterine. I just had them do it on Thursday for that reason.

@holly while that’s true it’s highly unusual for HCG to continue to rise normally with an ectopic. That’s usually the first indication of an ectopic.

True. Or just a non viable pregnancy. Your hcg can rise without doubling and get labeled a "threatened miscarriage". My two miscarriages didn't rise correctly but they were intrauterine... And with my ectopic I didnt know until it burst- but I had high hcg

I was having some pretty intense cramps so I called the doctors office and they wanted to take a look. My first hcg was 54, then 204 then 508- so that part looks good.

Currently in the same boat. 5 weeks 3 days and previous pregnancy was ectopic. Every twinge or slight cramping sends me into a panic until I get a confirmation that I have a intrauterine pregnancy. Having a blank ultrasound at 5 weeks didn't help matters any. ?
