I've never done any classes but I would be really interested in a baby CPR class.
When my son was little he was eating this dried fruit that's supposed to dissolve in saliva. I guess he ate it too fast, it didn't dissolve and clumped together in his throat. It was one of the scariest experiences of my entire life.
In hospital they teach you how to bathe the baby, change the diaper, it would be great if they went over CPR even just quickly.

Thats good. I think I'm most nervous about nursing. Hearing stories freaks me out. Hubby has also never changed a diaper so we shall see lol

I did a breastfeeding class. It was definitely informative. Breastfeeding didn't work out with my first, so it helped answer all of my questions. I didn't do any other classes, but would recommend cpr if you are not certified. I'm in the medical field, so we have refresher courses at work.

We are doing a labor and delivery class next month. My husband did a caring for baby class with his (male) cousin. Apparently the people teaching the class thought it was amazing that 2 men were there. My husband has limited experience with babies. I started babysitting at 11 years old. I didn't feel as though I needed that class!

I met with a lactation nurse after I had my son and I was really glad I did. I learned so much that I didn't know the first time around.

My SO and I are taking an 8-week Bradley method birth class which includes breastfeeding and basic infant care. It's once per week. Our first is tonight! Can't wait!
