Ok so not using actual numbers.. But everyone knows I'm over weight since having my girls. It's no secret. BUT i was talking with my hubby last night and idk how we got to this but he said something like (not using actual numbers) no one should weigh 800lbs, they should take care of themselves. And i said so what if someone weighs 800lbs? He said no one should weigh that, they should be healthier. I said well i almost weigh 800! I'm in the 790s. And I'm healthy. I may be overweight but i don't have any diseases, no high cholesterol, no high blood pressure, i don't have a bad heart, lungs, or anything else. So I'm healthy I'm just over weight. So then we argued about him having an issue with my weight.. Am i wrong in this? Because it really hurt my feelings.. I've tried sooo many different things to lose weight but having hypothyroidism makes you gain/hard to lose. And my medications for depression and anxiety cause you to gain also.. So it's very hard to lose weight.. But i didn't even know he had an issue with my weight until last night..
Weight Gain What week are you and how much weight have you gained so far?
I am only on my 2nd trimester and I gained so much weight! 😭 Can you mommas tell me what’s like a normal weight gain to be expected, please.
weight gain I'm up 26lb at 30 weeks. Honestly, super proud of that. I gained 70lb with my son. 10 weeks left to keep it going.
I'm 12 weeks and my doctor said I should have gained 10 pounds by now and I've gained 1. Anyone else have problems with gaining weight in the beginning?

For me with all my other pregnancies it doesn't matter what weight I start at, what I eat or how active I am I gain 60lbs every time. I'm actually over weight to start off with this pregnancy so I'm really really trying not to gain very much. So far I've gained 6lbs and I'm 15 weeks. This time around I've actually been making weight watchers recipes a few times a week lol I'm not trying to prevent weight gain just to gain at least a bit slower and hopefully less lol

I've gained about the same! I was stressing about it at first but doc says it's fine. I found I gained a ton at first, and then it kind of slowed. Maybe because I started off petite?

I've also gained about 15 in 18 weeks ?♀️ this is my first, I'm not that concerned. If the pace keeps up maybe I'll try to slow it down but I feel like I'm just following my body's cues. I rarely have junk food or snacks of any kind but I feel hungry for meals often. Just going with it!

15 pound at 17 weeks. I normally gain a lot at first and then it slows down.

13 pounds I think technically 11 if I go by the ob scale from my first visit till yesterday. I almost cried when she told me I'd gained 7 pounds in 4 weeks. But the nurse said I'll probably plateau soon and that if the doctors not worried I shouldn't be. I also was informed that my uterus is being shoved up and out faster than normal just because that's what my body wants to do which is ok but probably why the weight is increasing. I'm 19 weeks 4 days

Everyone is different.
I have gained about 1lb from starting weight, but I'm.also starting this pregnancy overweight.
Personally, I tend to gain only a few pounds in the 1st trimester, and then it picks up speed in the 2nd and 3rd. Other women I know gain fast in the beginning, and then it slows down in the middle to the end.
Other women gain a lot but it is a lot of water retention and they lose a ton. I gain about 30lbs, and don't lose much after birth.
Everyone is different.

Ive gained 1 lb, I'm 17 weeks. I gained 70 lbs with my 1st, and it was hard work to lose all that. This time, I don't want to have to put in all that work so I haven't changed my eating habits at all. And I've been trying hard to get walks in. I was so lazy and irresponsible last time.

I've also gained about 15 pounds and I'm 18 weeks. My doctor says I'll end up gaining more than 30 pounds with the pregnancy and she's not that happy about it. I'm a FTM so I don't know if this is just how my body reacts to being pregnant or not. She did approve me to exercise a little more I've been doing yoga and walking and the weight gain did slow down.

Just eat healthy and don't worry. It's tough, watching our bodies gain weight even when it's supposed to. Especially as women it can play serious head games.
With my first my doctor told me I was gaining too fast. Due to family things going on I stopped working out, ate a ton of crap and fast food far too often. This time, the first time I saw the doc she looked super confused and asked if 161lb was normal for me (I'm 16 weeks) I'm 5'5" but am very athletic, am a personal trainer, body building coach and competitor so my weight fluctuates a lot depending on the season and I carry a lot of muscle. I laughed a little too hard when she asked me that. Then she said "well, looking at you I'm not concerned. Just curious". ?
