Just a follow up. It took her 10 minutes to find the heart beat and I almost had a heart attack...Little munchkin is doing well and heart rate was 156. 2 weeks till we find out gender! All tests came back great!

Same thing happened to me today, not 10 min, but it still felt like eternity, my babe was nestled super low and moving around, that's why it took her so long to find the HB. It's scary!

The nurse has had trouble finding heartbeat at both appointments I've had so far. Hopefully it will get easier as baby gets bigger. My 20 week ultrasound is coming up in less than 3 weeks!

Same thing happened to me. I'm having a boy and his heart rate was 153 two days ago and 157 last month. ?

@romansmama...first time hr was 169 then 168, last time 156 and other day the same. Those old tales def aren't accurate lol. Can't wait to find out gender

Me too! Takes forever in the office for the Nurse or Dr to find it but we never have any trouble at home on our own doppler. You can't help but panic when that happens.
