When you have the seat secured and are testing the movement, where are you testing the movement at? You should be testing it at the belt path with your non-dominant hand. I made the mistake of testing mine at the very top of the seat which made it move way too much. But it was correctly installed when I tested it at the belt path.
@modom16, it does but then it loosens. I read the car manual and it said it shouldn’t require a locking clip because the seat belt has the tightening thing at the clasp of the belt (I know that makes no sense haha) but let me look up the locking clip and see if the car seat has one! That would probably help
@sammymclaughlin77, does the seatbelt lock when pulled all the way out? If not you need to use a locking clip, should be on the back of the car seat. I had a 01 Cherokee and it was not very car seat friendly.
It’s the Graco wayz 3in1. I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I can not find any videos on installing them with the seat belt as my son is 47lbs so I can’t use the latch system and it keeps moving @lilnote, @modom16, @kbbaybee16,
