My daughter’s hair is changing color. Her roots are coming in lighter except for a dark patch right here. Does anyone know what would cause one patch to come in dark?

When my neice was born she had a head full of black hair except for one little spot it was white blonde. Drs said it was like a birthmark as there was no pigmentation so it was blonde not black. She is now 23 and still has the little blonde spot??

The dark spot is just hair. It almost looks like a bruise.

Don’t see it but I always read hair and eyes can change color in the first 2years.
