4 Month sleep regression
Anyone hit the 4 Month sleep regression? I we have officially hit it this week. I've been up bawling my eyes out because I'm so exhausted. I used the sleep easy solution with my other kids at 8 months and it worked amazingly. I didn't want to have to start it so early with this baby but I think I have postpartum depression and I need sleep!!
I'm so nervous for this. I have heard so many horror stories. We have been sleep training Lucas since he was 2 months old so he now goes to bed awake and falls asleep on his own with minimal crying. I'm hoping since he is able to self-soothe the regression won't be too bad. He currently sleeps so well (10+ hrs straight) so I don't want anything to change!
It's awful! When my boys hit it they never went back to sleeping well again until I I tried to sleep train them. It was months and months of waking up 4 plus times a night. I feel like I don't have any other choice but to try some sort of sleep training.
The sleep easy solution is a book to help sleep train baby. It teaches them to self soothe. You put them down awake but go in the room in 5 minute intervals to help calm them but without picking them up. Both my boys started sleep through the night within 3 days of using this method. I haven't been officially diagnosed but I'm pretty sure I have ppd. I feel worse when I don't sleep. I don't have any negative feelings towards my daughter but I get intense rage quickly that is usually directed at my husband and I lash out more quickly at my two boys.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Oh no. Not looking forward to this.
