Weight loss help

This isn't a rant or rave...just a question. I'm wondering how ladies that have lost a lot of weight through clean eating and exercise, learned how to eat clean? Did you have a book, Internet, a nutritionist. I am currently almost 200lbs and I can't keep living like this. I want to start eating healthier but I don't know where to start. I get overwhelmed when I start to google or do research and then just end up feeling lost. Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I know this post is super old, but if you were looking for something to lose weight with still, try 28 day jump start. Weekly grocery lists, and recipes. It's seriously the best thing ever. Especially if you feel overwhelmed looking online ☺️

One of my friends lost 60 pounds in seven months. When I asked her how she said she doesn't eat any one thing that has more than four ingredients in it meaning she doesn't buy anything processed (cereal, granola bars, chips, soda, etc)
She does cook with more than four ingredients though. As long as they are natural (she makes killer vegetable soup!)
In addition she let herself have one cheat meal (meal not day) every other week. But even on he cheat meal she stayed away from soda because she said that made the biggest different on the scale.
She logged her food on my fitness pal. To make sure her calorie intake stayed on target.

When I saw her about four months in not only did she look thinner but her skin glowed and she looked healthier than I had ever seen her before.

I just started doing this two weeks ago and immediately lost 5 pounds. I have 70 more to go but this has been pretty easy so far. Mostly because I love fruit and nuts. I hope I can keep with it when the summer fruits and veggies are gone

Read "Intuitive Eating." It'll change your view on food forever- in a good way.

Also, research food combining.

plan your meals and stick to it! if you already have them planned itll keep you from eating a quick meal that isnt healthy for you!

Look up Jamie Eason ' s live fit trainer. It's a 12 wk program. Even if you can't do all of the exercises at first, it gives you a shopping list and meal/recipe ideas.

Google the food pyramid and write down your meal plans for the week.if youve been eating unhealthy for a while then youll lose weight just by cutting out those naughty foods.theres also a weight loss group on here who can advise you xx

I had a break from certain food lol. I was a serious food addict though so was needed.
I started in January and once you lose weight you really do just realised that you never want to go back to old eating habits. Vegies/lean meat/nuts/cheeses (not too much!) I think if you go on google theres a food tringle to help you.I found that carbs are what caused me to get to 18st.i keep away from them for now, limiting my daily intake...as soon as you'll start you'll get the hang of it xx

I don't eat clean, but I've seen plenty of things online about it. Kelsey Byers has a list of "clean" foods that you could probably google and find. Pinterest has some info and recipes too. Good luck!
