My son used to pull at his ears when he was tired. Lately he's been touching his ears more frequently but he has had an ear infection so I suspect that's why.

Olivia does it when she's teething because the pain from the gums is connected to the ears. When she actually has ear infection she doesn't tug her ears. Strange :)

Mine pulls on her ears when she's tired. I think it's kind of a self soothing thing, she pulls on the ears of her stuffed animals too, lol. It causes me so much anxiety though because she also has chronic ear infections, so I always worry. Maybe your little guy is fussy from being tired and that's why he's also pulling his ears? yes allie messes with them she will even put her finger in when I told her doctor he said the touching is southing but putting her fingers inside is signs of allergies and them being itchy
