My med list says to avoid any cold and flu formulas with phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine. But specifically it says we can have:
Cepacol lozenges and spray, chloraseptic spray, halls cough drops (my doc said any are fine), mucinex or mucinex dm, dextromethorphan and vics vapor rub.
My doc said she is fine with me taking any cold/flu over the counter as long as it's not something the pharmacist keeps behind the counter. I just found out they make alcohol free Nyquil this wkend and I was soooo happy! I was also cleared to take emergen-c packets too.

I did but threw it out. Which med do you have questions about? My mom is a labor and delivery nurse I can probably get the answer for you.
