I also lost my mom, 8 years go, I was 19. Something I loved to do and also included my daughter on (I've missed the past couple years though I feel super bad) is get a balloon and a sharpie and write her a message, then release the balloon to go up to heaven for her. It's special and lets you write a special message to your loved one and have time to reflect on what you'd want to say, the first time I let my daughter do one with me we traced her hands on a balloon and when we let it go she cried and was so upset she wanted her balloon back, lol.

Just thought maybe some of u might like to do it, it always was special for me.

And I'm crying real tears. I've lost my dad, grandma, and a very close uncle all within the past 5 years. It's very hard to deal with. I deal with it everyday...this is beautiful though. ?

Today is my fathers birthday. He died this July.

No, not at all effer! Like I said over the years I come to realize that instead of dwelling my birthday I took her passing on my birthday as a special and rare bond that we share..to try and lighten up the day. Thank you so much it means a lot, and I'm so sorry about your mom. I really just get the chills every time I find out someone else has lost there's too. No matter how much time has passed.

And happy early birthday to her!
