planning baby #2
Well I have been off of my birth control for 2 months now. Surprised I am not pregnant yet but we are trying! We would like to be pregnant no later than January so that baby 2 will be born when melindas around a year and a half old. We are trying to avoid him or her being born when Melinda hits terrible twos and beyond. So excited! I'm trying to not think about how I would have to go through labor again lol I tore pretty badly. We have beeb extremely lucky with our first in every category possible... I know with the next it can be total opposite but we are pretty excited!!! ?? when that time comes I will definitely let you ladies know but weird I will be in another birth month!!
Thank you so much! :-) baby dust to you as well when you are ready!!
Aimee that is ah-mazing! I am so happy for you both, what a blessing for you and your husband!!!! Woohoooo???
How has this pregnancy been for you so far? Any major chances from the last one?
I am due for my menstrual cycle in 8 days so we will see. Curious to see if my body is ready yet and if the timing was right. We had Intercourse during my fertile window so it was the best time!
I'm pregnant again. Lol not planned but we are so excited! The Hubby was diagnosed with testicular cancer back in August and had surgery to remove one of them we weren't sure if we were going to be able to have anymore kids but I got her number control surprise! So this is kind of a blessing for us and I'm not worried about tearing if I tear again I tear again! I'll definitely be getting the epidural again! I'm due June 12!
Thank you! Oh I am sure when the time I'd right it will happen hehee I will wish some baby dust uppon you! ;-)
My husband actually only wants 2 so the next would be our last BUT I don't see that happening! I personally would want no more than 3 but hey I would be ok with just two! Kids are expensive lol
Ch3lsealiz omg!! I am so happy someone I know is also trying! How exciting!! Happy for you and hopefully we both are expecting around the same time! :-)
Colsiemarie1 i didn't have a csection...but..was very close! Had to use the suction to help me out. Wish you the best of luck with your next pregnancy!
Thats great! So exciting!! Baby fever! Lol
Well....husband and I just had intercourse tonight, I am on my fertile window and tomorrow is my ovulation day so fingers crossed! Due for my menstrual cycle on the 23rd. Eeeeeek.
Thanks court!!❤ It would be awhile before I would post anything on Instagram! I didn't post anything until I found out then gender which was around 20 weeks. This is why I love this app! But of course you girls would know right away! ??
MM Oh wow! Thanks for sharing your story with me. I guess I shouldn't have really said my labor was horrible because i pushed for almost an hour and a half but it only felt like 20 mins! Not sure why because that was the worst hour ever! I thought i wasn't going to be able to do it. But of course it ended up being all worth it.
Its just because it was my first I wasn't worried about the labor part because I have never went through it before but now that I know it gives me bad butterfly's even thinking of it!! But I am excited to try again
Don't worry too much about how labor will be with your next one. With my first, labor and delivery was not fun. I pushed for over three and a half hours and then they lost his heartbeat and had to do the internal monitor. I pushed for at least another half hour before I had him. Luckily no c section, but everything else that could have gone wrong did. He had a fever when he was born so I got to hold him for less than 5 minutes and he was taken away. I didn't see him again for at least six hours, and when I did, it was only when I was wheeled into the nursery and couldn't hold him.
I was so worried about giving birth to my second baby. I stressed out about throughout my whole pregnancy. I really didn't enjoy my pregnancy because labor and delivery was always in the back of my mind. Funny thing is that it was so easy. When it was time to push, three pushes and she was out. Everything was perfect, nothing was wrong. I got to enjoy those first few hours with her.
I'm now due with my third (due June 1st) and even though I am worried that delivery could be a repeat of my first, I know that there is nothing that I can do about it now and that stressing out about it just makes things worse.
Good luck trying for your second, and try not to worry too much about how things will go! :)
Mamytobe I am so excited for you!!
Court I'm curious to how the labor would be. If they didn't use the suction and I didn't push with all my might I would have needed a c section but as soon as I heard that word I pushed and thought I was going to die! The suction really saved me. It was because every time I pushed she hit my pelvic bone.
Thank you all! I will definitely let you all know!! :) and I won't be going anywhere you know this Is my first group the next just wont be the same!
Brandt that's great! Happy to hear someone else is trying again so soon!! :)
No judgements pls, but I am absolutely petrified of giving birth (and also extremely squeamish). My whole life I always said when I got pregnant, I would have a c-section. Well, now that it's almost time, I have no idea what to do 😭 I would really love to talk to mamas who've had a Cesarean by choice.. I don't have anyone in "real life" to talk to about this at all and it's really getting to me.
(*ALSO* I have a pretty large dermoid cyst on my ovary that they want to remove during a c-section i...
OT. rant! forward facing early
ok, so in my birth month forum (October 2012) someone posted a picture of their lo riding in the car in a forward facing seat! what???? it baffles me when parents do this. I'm not trying to offend anyone.. but why do ppl do this?? the oldest baby in our birth month is 9 months, she was 3 months premature. but even at 9 months I wouldn't have my child forward facing.
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Aww good luck.
I'm expecting again and in the April 2015 Birth Club. My baby boy was born April 16 2014 and my due date is April 18 2015.
