It was my decision because while my stay at the hospital there were a few days where I honestly couldn't nurse because my nipples were cracked and bleeding pretty severely and the contractions were bad which I know is totally normal but I just decided on easing into it and that's where the formula came in (when I didn't nurse) my doctor just ok'd it and said that's totally fine. My breasts are obviously full of milk now (been 2 weeks now since I had her) and I use a nipple shield which works wonders and made things easier for the both of us (even though baby latches just fine) I do 10 mins on each breast and also 2 oz of formula every 4 hours.
That stinks! Is that because your breast feeding?
I'm nursing 10 mins on each breast and doing a 2 oz bottle of formula that's why I get away with every 4 hours..pediatricians orders! Lol
I had a week and a half with the fiancé home so by the time today came it jut felt like second nature...luckily!!
I really got lucky today! Unfortunately who knows what the night time and tomorrow will be like lol ... We feed her every 4 hours and our schedule works perfect for the two of us (fiancé and I) we feed her at 12-4-8 and repeat. I feed her at midnight and Fiancé's alarm goes off at 4 (for work) so he feeds her than..when she cooperates which she's been doing awesome I get 8 hours of sleep!! Wake up at 8 a.m feed and she just naps in between. She's doing so good so far!
I couldn't imagine being home with two! FTM here! Lol
She's been doing so well just been napping In between feedings ??
Ohhh ok ☺️
