I start weekly NST's next week for GD! I kind of look at it as the "upside" of having GD, haha... I'm pretty sure I'm going to love laying there looking at my daughter and hearing her heartbeat! :)
Well 3 weeks ago I had a scare, wasn't feeling baby that much and my kick counts were way off. They sent me in for an emergency non-stress test and ultrasound..hooked me up for an hour. All was perfectly fine the baby was moving around like crazy, for some reason I could to feel any of it. My doctor said that they don't have any reasoning of why, my placenta is in the front so I shouldn't be having much trouble feeling her.
I went for my regular apt today and she had asked me how I have been activity wise since 3 weeks ago and nothing has really changed. Said I should be feeling 10 kicks every 10 hours and anything less than that repeatedly I should call immediately, so she went me back to the hospital to do another NST, also have to go once a week up until I go into labor, will be hooked up for 40 minuets each time.
Both of my tests were completely normal, blood pressure has been great. Can't figure out why I haven't been feeling her. Want to say about 10 times I feel her in a whole day which to my doctors isn't good but everything always ends up being fine!
As nerve wrecking as it is I don't mind at all getting these tests. I love getting to hear her for a long period of time!!
They just want to make sure they monitor me to make sure everything stays normal since I don't have very far left to go and since I don't feel her almost at all on a daily basis I think it's a great decision!

I was hooked up for probably ten minutes lol and they let me leave but next time in case I have to stay longer I will be prepared

Baby blue-You will love it! It's been one of my favorite doctors trips so far! (Well besides seeing baby and finding out gender) :-]
