Opinions: what i have so far is each color gets one round. I was thinking of doing several rounds of each color, so there would be solid bands, then doing a section of single rounds again,(which will look checkerboard like this again)

@miniegee its not hard at all!! I feel like its easier than "regular" crochet.
I could see where tension could be tricky, but i havent had any issues yet.
Find the crochet crowd tutorial on "trip around the world" thats what i used and it was super easy to follow.

Hobby lobby has this gorgeous pink color that i am in love with, but may be too bright for your taste haha
I also like purple grey and white together... or ombre with reds, pinks, and whites.... haha i could go on for days
