Favorite foundation and conclear
What's your favorite foundation/conclear? How much is it and how long does it last you?
I have combo dry skin right now so I am using formulas that give dewy finishes. I would suggest doing research to see what skin type you have before committing.
I'm using Diorskin forever foundation it's $50, with the right setting spray it stays on. Never have to retouch my foundation.
For concealer tarte shape tape. It's $27 I believe, it's super full coverage and my go to for every look.
Mac Pro longwear
It’s the only foundation that will stay on my face. Most break up after a couple hours or wipe off if I️ touch my face at all. Mac stays on all day most of the time and I have to wipe it pretty good to get it off. It also comes in lots of colors so it’s easy to match . I’m pretty light so it’s hard for me to find my color. I either end up looking to orange or really pink.
I've only ever used drugstore foundations because for me personally, I feel it's a waste of money. I don't use foundation everyday and I don't like full coverage unless it's a special occasion or date night. I just use the Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless ($6), L'Oréal's True Match Lumi ($10) or Pond's luminous BB+ cream (discontinued ?).
For concealer, I swear by NARS creamy concealer ($30). It's my holy grail. I also like the Maybelline Fit Me concealer (I think $6?). I like Tarte's Shape Tape ($27) for spot concealing and highlighting everywhere but under my eyes. It enhances my fine lines so badly and I've tried everything to keep it from doing so. My fine lines aren't even that bad. That's what I don't understand. When I apply it under my eyes and blend using my finger instead of a beauty blender it doesn't look AS bad but it's still noticeable. ?? Sorry for that tangent ? I'm still butt hurt with how everyone raves about it for days but it hates me for some reason.
Maybelline fit me matte and poreless foundation. Even tho I have dry skin, it looks great. I use a hydrating primer.
Fit me concealer is my #1
I also have the tarte shape tape
Edit: but my absolute favorite foundation is the not technically a foundation: IT cosmetics your skin but better CC cream
UD Naked skin! Not the best coverage but I have terrible acne and acne scars and it doesn't clog my pores or make me oily. The only downside is it clings to dry patches so I have to moisturize really good. It's $40 at Sephora.
I don't use concealer, I've tried so many and it gets cakey and I can never find one to match my skin.
Hey Everyone, so I don't normally wear makeup but I really want to start, I guess my question is how do you find the right shade of foundation, and what is your favorite brand of foundation?
Anyone have their toddler in a Head Start or /training & research foundation based program? How do you feel about it?
