My son was only like 2 months old his first Halloween we bought a sleeper just like this but looked like a tiger we just put him in that and gave out candy

Totally fine! My son wore skeleton pjs on his first Halloween last year. We bought him a bear costume but he hates stuff on his head so it was a waste of money anyway lol

For my first child's first Halloween I was a single teenage mom and barley making it by I had a pumpkin sleeper for him but he ended up with a very nice lion costume as they were on clearance for $3 on Halloween day!

For my sons first halloween, he wore the sleeper that was a pumpkin. I didn’t wanna spend tons of money on a Halloween costume. Plus when we went trick or treating, he was in the stroller most of the time. Granted he was only 2 months old.

Totally fine. My first was not quite 2mos for his first Halloween. We just put him in Halloween PJs that had a jack-o'-lantern on them.

We have the same sleeper for my son. ❤. I wouldnt feel bad at all, its adorable and so cozy too. I don't know where you live but it gets chilly here on Halloween. For the older one You can do so much with just a mask.. but have tried a thrift store or consignment shop? My bestie is a SAHM with 4 young kids and she always finds them costumes super cheap. I went with her 2 years ago and got my son a retail $40 costume for $6 at goodwill. Or get a roll of toilet paper or gauze and wrap him as a mummy.. my mom did that for me one year when we didn't have a lot of money, or get some old clothes, tear them up and make him an old-timey hobo or throw some fake blood on and you have a zombie (again another costume courtesy of my frugal mom)
