HELP. ASAP
Ladies, I was in the bathroom all night, I got ZERO sleep. I was constantly having to change myself all night. Every time I used the restroom, it looked like a crime scene in the toilet. Is this ER worthy? It's so much blood, idk what's happening to me but it's scaring me so much. I just wanna cry ? I cannot go to school like this and I don't want it to affect my schooling either. HELP me please ?

Hope you figure out soon. Can you call your doctor?

My OB and the RNs in labor and delivery when I was being discharged told me this about ibuprofen and it helping lessen the bleeding. I tend to believe an actual medical professional I guess I'm just weird like that.
"Take a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), such as naproxen or ibuprofen. NSAIDs reduce menstrual bleeding by decreasing the production of substances called prostaglandins. The usual recommended dose of ibuprofen is 400 mg every 6 hours."

Ibprofrin is a blood thinner. So you would actually bleed more but the clots would be thinner and not clotted.

Definitely insist a doctor see you asap. Demand answers. If it comes back something that the er should have caught get a lawyer because it seems to me that the er just doesn't want to be bothered with you and it's bullshat

The ER can be so useless in situations like this. Go see your OB. Nothing about bleeding like that seems normal or ok. Ibuprofen can help lessen the bleeding. My OB told me this right after I had my daughter 400mg every 6 hours. I hope it gets better for you.

This isn't normal at all. I would get second opinion

I'm having some mild cramping. I was hoping they'd do an ultrasound but they didn't. They said to back if I bleed through 3 tampons in an hour for 3 hours straight. Like I might as well just bleed out until I pass out ?

Are you in any pain? I'm surprised they didn't do an ultrasound and check your ovaries and tubes.
Ciara·
Nope. No birth control.

Do you happen to have the Mirena IUD? Sorry if you've already answered this. I can't remember. I had this exact thing happen to me over a year after having the mirena placed. It was AWFUL! Went on for months! I ended up having it removed and have never had a problem since!

Um, I know back in 2015 when I got my appendix removed they said there was a cyst on my right ovary and it burst during the operation so they cleaned it out. But other than that, no. All they keep saying is "hormone imbalance". I feel there's more to it though but I'm no doctor. ?

That sounds awful ? sending good thoughts to you and your vag.

Have you ever been diagnosed with ovarian cysts? Sometimes when they rupture they cause heavy bleeding.

UPDATE:
I feel like I wasted my time there y'all. My blood work came back fine and the PA that did my pelvic exam said I wasn't bleeding a lot? I am still passing blood clots, and just right before my exam I passed a huge one and during the exam she said removed a big too. I'm just to follow up with my OB tomorrow. ? I just want to know why I'm bleeding so damn much.

Hope everything is okay!!

Im not pregnant or on any birth control. They ordered a pelvic exam and going to run some blood work to make sure I'm not anemic after losing so much blood. I'm here by myself and I just want to cry ?

Go in to ER. When I was like that I waited and passed out from the amount I was losing. Better to be checked. I had to have a d&c done 2 days later.

Definitely get checked out
