He wasn't there for his birth so he didn't sign anything.

I believe if he's not on the bc he doesn't have legal rights. Did he sign the affidavit at the hospital? That's what he'd sign for rights and to be placed on it.

I mean technically he doesn't have rights because he isn't on the birth certificate but others would beg to differ. I want him to sign over his rights but I doubt he would. ?

If he could care for his daughter than he is more than capable of caring for my son. It's his responsibility too!!!!

After not paying for so long and hiding, they should have to do jail time. The only way these men are going to start paying is the fear of going to jail.

If he's getting paid cash(not working his social) , they'll never find him and serve him his papers .

Hmm my case had many ups and downs to it.... But once we went in for a final,order I was granted child support that day (the 23rd I think) of whatever month it was and he was due to,pay the amount on the 1st of the very next month. Didnt take long at all

It's been 3 months and my case is still in the process. We went to mediation and we both signed a stipulation, now I'm just waiting for it to become a court order then his wages can be garnished. I don't have the worst bd though. He has paid the amount the last 2 months even though he technically doesn't have to yet

My ex keeps bouncing back and forth and he's over 19,000 in debt from it. They have suspended his license, arrested him, attacked his credit. Nothing seems to want him to pay me the amount he's supposed to. I consider it a lost cause.

Ha, I haven't seen a dime. My ex admits that he doesn't work so he doesn't have to pay. He mooches off his gf and is almost $8,000 behind. If they find him, he will be charged with contempt.

It takes a month at least before I start getting anything from my ex. He was court ordered in our divorce years ago and he bounces from job to job to avoid paying as much as he can. Every time they have to find him again and every time it takes a month to start getting any payments.
