Age gap. What are your children's age gap?

The LO I'm pregnant with now will be 12 1/2 years apart from my first. I agree it is too far apart because they won't be able to relate at all. I love how my 8, 4, 2, and 1 years old get along! My 12 year old will hold the baby or make him smile, but the bond between the others is so much stronger. It makes me sad for her....

My oldest is 11 yrs old and 3 1/2 years old than his sister who is about to be 8 and I have an 18 month old.

First two kids are 2 yrs apart. This baby has a huge gap 18yrs-16yrs apart ?

2 years exactly

Dd1-dd2 16 months

Dd2-dd3 3 years

Dd3-dd4 7 years

My first two are exactly two years apart and this third baby will be 4 years 10 months younger than DD1 and 2 years 9 months younger than DD2

I'm due in February so that will put them 3 years apart.

There's 3 years 9 months between my oldest and my twins. It's perfect for us. She's old enough to occupy herself and play alone when I'm busy.

My kids are 10 weeks, 2, 3, 12, and 13? I got my tubes tied with this last one

Josiah will be 4.5 years old once DD is born.

If this baby comes near his/her due date, then our kids will be right at 21 months apart. We will probably want another baby or two after that, and we plan to shoot for about the same age gap each time.

We are expecting our fourth child first boy. 8 year old 4.5 year old and 3 year old. I'm due in March.

My daughter will be 6 & a half when he baby brother is born in March. I'm happy with that gap. I can only imagine how helpful she'll be. She is already super helpful whenever I watch my baby nieces. She is so excited for the new baby.

If #2 comes on time. Ds will be about 6 days shy of 21 months.

First will be 11 when new baby is born..

My son will be 2 years 3 months older than baby #2.

6yrs 2yrs and 2 months. My oldest and middle are exactly 2wks shy of being 4 years apart

My oldest is 5 and her brother is only just bout a yr younger he just turned 4..

Mine are just over 5 years apart and I as well live the big age gap. My oldest I'd such a help with his baby sister and has been since day 1!

When I have DS2 in March they will be 22 months apart.

Will be nearly 2years. Baby 2 due 2 weeks before DD bday.

My son and daughter are just shy of 5 years apart. I am currently pregnant with a second boy and him and my first son will be 15 months apart

My oldest will be a few months shy of 9, middle will be 4, and youngest will be 2 months away from 2 years old when this one comes.

2 years in between each of my kids. I LOVE it.

My daughter will be 3 March.31st & baby boy is due tomorrow .

I'll be 22 in february and would like to have more kids in 7-10 years.

I'm going back to school & am going to have a career and buy a home before having anymore kids.

I know lots of people who have kids with over ten years age gap, and it seems to have worked out well for them.

16 months between between my first two and two years between the second and third and it will be a year between the third and fourth

My daughter will be 3 years 3 months by the time this baby is born, so honestly I'm pretty comfortable with that.

At least I'll have an almost 5 year old by the time I have another terrible two lol ?

My first two are 17 months apart. My second and third are a little over 2 years apart

DH is 35. I'm 28.

Ds1 will be 2 years 8 months when Ds2 arrives in February.

We both agree that is a good gap for us.

Ds1 can tell us what he needs or wants 90% of the time. He's starting to be interested in potty training. He is able to do simple tasks for himself. He has a decent grasp of manners. Last but definitely not least he is interested in babies and everything to do with babies.

If this pregnancy works my children will be 2 weeks shy of 4 years apart. My sister and I are 13 years apart and we both basically grew up as only children. I was a surprise and started kindergarten the same year she went to college. And I always had her to take me to things my mom wouldn't go to like rock concerts and stuff like that. So it was great having a way older sister for me!

My sons will be 6 1/2 years apart.

I'm due May 21st w/ ds2.

& ds1 turned 6, Dec. 27th.

I wanted to be done by 30 but couldn't shake wanting another so here I am pregnant with number 3 at 32. There will be a 9 year gap between my youngest and the baby when born. My oldest will be 12 and they are both SO excited to be getting a baby sibling! ❤️ Do what works for you! I will say that we are financially stable, both have nice cars (just upgraded to fit three kids better) and own a house. I'm not worried about the expense of a baby too much this time around which is nice since we have to buy everything again. I'll get to buy everything I want or need brand new. The only thing is that I know our lifestyle is really going to change having a little one again since my kids are completely independent now.

2 years apart. DD2 was born 12 days before DD1's 2nd birthday

It sounds like you're making a really responsible decision. Don't let her make you second guess yourself :)

Mine will be not quite 2 years apart. I know I'm in for some chaos, but this is what made sense for my family.

Ds1 is 15, ds2 is 8, our dd is 8 months, and I'm almost 31 weeks with ds3.

They're about 3 years apart. I wanted my kids closer but it looks like the next one will be at least 3 years behind big sister too.

Ds is 3 years 9 months older than his sister. Perfect ages for us.

Dd1 and dd2 are almost 4 years apart exactly ( birthdays are 2 days apart) and there will be a 6 and 2 year difference once ds is here ( due in 4 days).

I'm starting over. My 2 older sons will be 20 and 17 when DD is born.

My ds and dd are 18 months apart

My daughter will be 4.5 when this baby is born. I don't see myself having another one in no less than 5 years.

So I have three back to back love it though gives mrs headache sometimes.

Ds1 was 8 when I had Ds2.

Ds1 will be 10 & Ds2 will be 2 when I have this baby in may.

I love the big age gap, mainly because I was young and got my life together to have the ability to have the next two closer together.

Ds will be 4 years & 2 months when this lo is born.

I personally think its a great gap. I loved being able to establish a bond with ds and he's pretty independent and excited to be mama's big helper with his brother :)

My son is 1yr 8m older than my daughter and will be 4yrs and some odd days older than this coming baby

And my daughter will be 2yrs and 5months older than this coming baby.

Had my first at 19 and ill be 23. Im happy to have all my kids young, kinda have to because my so will be 35.

DS is 12 and is still just as excited about having another sibling (hoping for a brother).

I love the larger gap. Everyone gets plenty of time being the baby. I don't have to worry about early weaning before they're ready bc of pregnancy. And I get to enjoy sleep without training or forcing sleep before they're ready. They are somewhat independent & able to lend a helping hand with baby when/if needed. We also don't have a lot of sibling rivalry.... my sister & I are 2 years apart, we fought all the time.

5.5 years between my two. I love having a big age gap. My ds is such a great help with dd and I was able to completely focus on ds the first 5 years until he went to school.

She just always tries to talk shat or bring me down and it annoys me. Like she struggles with her 3 now and I don't want to put my kids into that position. I don't want that big of an age gap but only our future will tell. ?

Mine are 2 years apart, both April babies.

I have a 3 year old and a 16

month old.

4 year old, 1.5 year old, and 1 month old

We have been entertaining the idea of one more, but I'm not sure when or if it will even happen. I love that my kids are close in age. I don't think I could start all over again having older children who are independent. I fall into routine very easily, and that would be a huge adjustment for me. I had a hard time adjusting to life as a new mom with my first child, but with my second and third it was like second nature. I think I would be back to the first time mom state of mind if I left a huge age gap between my kids. It works for some, but I couldn't swing it.

Mine are 2 years apart, born the same month. I'm 27 and dh is 29 next month and we personally wanted to be done having kids by 30. But that's us. You and your SO should do whatever you want to do with your family.

My son will be a few weeks shy of 3 when we have baby number 2. I think its different for everyone. I could not possibly start all over again when my youngest was 7 or so. I think having them close is easier for me personally, but its personal preference. She isn't you so she needs to let you do what you're comfortable with.
