I'm so heartbroken.
We were only gonna get my son presents for Christmas but now we can't even do that. ?? (as my car needs 800$ worth of work done) I feel so sh*tty. I just wanna crawl into a hole and not come out.
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
cats and babies My so and I haven't been able to have cats for years. Last year we moved into our own house. So says we can have a cat now.
IUI Monday!! So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years!!! It was a good thing we picked up a trigger shot before we left too :-)
Share your son's names ? So im due in 8ish weeks with a little boy but we cant find a name that we both love so please ladies comment your boys' names ! I need some inspiration ??

Can you sign up for presents to be donated to your son? I'm so sorry things come up in life all the time and it really sucks but it's not your fault. Just spend a lot of time with your baby on the holiday and maybe try to get something from the dollar tree. I'm really sorry mama that really stinks.

How old is your child? Like old enough to know or remember not getting anything?? And can u maybe do a payment plan for your car work? Some local mechanics will do that if u know them. I know my sisters does. U can always go to the dollar store and get some little things

@OP I started a "Toddler Toy Trade" on facebook, basically giving families an opportunity to trade toys in good condition, younger kids have no idea if their toy is brand new or just brand new to them, maybe look into something like that? If you have older kids that would notice, make an amazon wishlist and I'll buy them something from there, I'd love to help, my son is beyond blessed this year.

Christmas is my favorite time of year, I always go broke helping everybody but it's so worth it. I'm really proud of the Toddler Toy Trade though, I thought it was a great idea!

I know how you feel. My husband lost his job yesterday. I'm not even sure how we are going to pay our bills this month. Definitely not going to be able to buy Christmas presents

Call your local Salvation Army, the kid's school, churches, google your county name + gift assistance. There are tons of programs out there to help you!

You ladies are so sweet. ? You're all making me cry more. He is 3, almost 4! He is so looking * for presents, he keeps telling me what he wants and he wants to see Santa.
My car does need to get worked on asap or else we will be without a car, which I cannot be without since we only have 1.

My parents went through a few Christmases like this with me and my 2 brothers. We had a few dollar tree Christmases with one "big" gift (about $20 if that) and we never knew the difference.

Then I would look into toys for tots or other church organizations in your area for help. There's no shame in asking for help when needed

My sister just reminding me that my uncle (moms side) works on cars and I am asking him to do it and I will buy all the parts for him to do it which I'm sure he wouldn't charge me. So fingers crossed. And if not than I will have my family get an extra present for him and say it's from Santa. Thank you though ladies. You're all truly amazing. ?
