He screamed and cried.

I thought we weren't allowed to cut their hair until they turned one? Or their soft spot hardened?

He was born with so much hair, it was crazy lion hair by the time he turned 3 months. Lol you could clearly see all the hair he had in his newborn pics, all down his back, on his ear!

Ds just got his and he is 19 months

They scissored cut it. They didn't really take a lot off but took enough off so I didn't have to go back for another 3 months. Didn't get an actual razor cut till he was after 1.

2 weeks before he turned one. @pp that has to be an old wives tale. How would cutting hair make their soft spot harden?

My oldest was 13 months and youngest 18 months and still didn't have hair anywhere near your son they probably could have gone longer without a haircut

DS2 ~16 mo was bald for a while

DS3 not yet at 4.5 years! Bald for at least 2 years. Now my surfer dude ❤️

8 months. He had long hair and it had to be shaved bald because he needed a helmet to correct his flat spot. It was so sad to cut it all off ?

My dd is 2 and still had not had an official hair cut. I trimmed her bangs when she was like 8 months because they were uneven (and ended up cutting them way too short lol). But the rest of her hair has not been touched.

My Boy just turned 19 months and this Friday has his first scheduled Haircut appointment. He was born with lots of hair but was very manageable to comb. Now it just gets very messy all over the place and in his face.

21 days. Took him to have his hair shaved. 2nd time was about 6-8 weeks ago for a trim.

Right at 1 with my first and 18 months with my second.

Damn! My kids are bald long after they turn 1! So jealous!

Oh no. Fluffy soft baby hair is the best. My dd is 4 and still hasn't got a haircut. She has long loose curls and and one part is longer than the other but isn't noticeable unless you comb it.

I wouldn't have ever cut his hair!
