No more cyst, yay.
Not sure if you guys will remember but I had to go to Boston Children’s hospital for a fetal MRI when I was pregnant because of a mass in baby girls tummy that they found during an ultra sound. It turned out to be a ovarian cyst (caused by my pregnancy hormones) which was the best outcome for where the mass was. Well Amelia had her follow up ultra sound and there’s no more cyst! Yay, such a relief that it’s gone and there won’t be any surgery needed. Her specialist also reassured me that this in no way will make her susceptible to them in the future and that there was no twisting of her ovary (which could have caused that ovary to wither up, yikes) it looks perfectly healthy. I’ve had fertility problems so I know the pain of that. I’m glad she came through with both ovaries intact and ready to give me grand babies (if she so chooses) in 25-30 years ?.

Today was my nieces baby shower, which went great. She got so much which amazing since she's been working 2 jobs trying to save up for the unpaid leave she'll have to take from work. Any moms out there ever had a cyst on their ovaries ? I was around 10 weeks when I found out I had a cyst on my right ovary , I got another sonogram to look at it if it grew or was still the same size and it was the same size so the dr told me I could have a c section which I don't want one. My previous pregnancies where normal , I've heard the cyst hurt and etc but thank god mine doesn't hurt or bother me .
I had an ultra sound done Monday with my regular OB and he said he thought I was having a girl but couldn't say for sure because of the legs being crossed well I went yesterday to a private ultra sound studio and she checked 4 times and said definitely a girl....
