No more cyst, yay.

Not sure if you guys will remember but I had to go to Boston Children’s hospital for a fetal MRI when I was pregnant because of a mass in baby girls tummy that they found during an ultra sound. It turned out to be a ovarian cyst (caused by my pregnancy hormones) which was the best outcome for where the mass was. Well Amelia had her follow up ultra sound and there’s no more cyst! Yay, such a relief that it’s gone and there won’t be any surgery needed. Her specialist also reassured me that this in no way will make her susceptible to them in the future and that there was no twisting of her ovary (which could have caused that ovary to wither up, yikes) it looks perfectly healthy. I’ve had fertility problems so I know the pain of that. I’m glad she came through with both ovaries intact and ready to give me grand babies (if she so chooses) in 25-30 years ?.
