Ok. I'm gonna admit, I was a little skeptical of the sleep regression thing. But re reading my last few posts about her not sleeping, I wholeheartedly believe in it!!

Shari, she only tends to do this on nights I gotta work. So for example, today was my day off, but we had two appts this morning. So I had to set an alarm and get up before she woke up. If we didn't have appts I'm sure woulda slept until 9am.

I could have written this again last night since my baby was up from 1-3 fussing everu few minutes...so frustrating. I then fed her at 3 and she cried on and off until 4:30 and I tried several times to let her cry herself to sleep but she just gets herself so worked up..when I would go to her she would give such a sigh of relief and stop immediately and start smiling...i think I've been too nice and she's addicted to me lol. Anyways I kept thinking of you while inside feeling so exhausted by this and annoyed while this is happening I'm just thinking, "how could I even think to have another baby"...but as you said you just can't wait to snuggle them.again...We're human not perfect..its normal....youre certainly not alone! Hope you had a better sleep than I did since you have to go to work. ?

This was me yesterday Hun, I broke down twice as she pretty much kept me up all night too then I struggled getting her off for one of her naps, tried for over a hour and I broke down luckily my mom was here and guess what...it took her 10 mins to get her off, I felt demoralised!! Last night she woke 6 times which was better and I got a little sleep. I'm sure it'll get better soon for all of us fx!! Hang in there xx

Sleep regression is torture! We are in the same boat, we have gone back to 3 feeds at night and not settling, Harper doesn't use (refuses) the dummy so It takes me ages to get her asleep. I have gone back to crying most days and hating my hubby (temporary of course!) because he works away and leaves me with 7 kids on my own.

I totally understand, I'm not very fond of my toddlers atm becasue they are being horrid! Hehehe

But it's not for ever ? hang in there sweet you will rock it x

That was me yesterday when mr sent me the picture of me taking pictures of baby(his response to my rant)!! ?? I was complaining to mr about how tired I am and how I wish I could take a nap but I have too much to do. By the time I'm done it's time to pick up my boys from school. Mr works till 7 sometimes later. Bed time is 8:30 on school nights. Just feeling under/overwhelmed. Glad to see I'm not alone. Hope you both get some quality sleep. It really does make all the difference.

Yep Jess has it right. Don't beat yourself up over it. Sleep deprivation it brutal. Clara has never once slept through the night we are up every 4-5 hours so I feel your pain. There was also a while where she thought 4am was the time to wake up everyday!!!?? needless to say Jess has it right. This too shall pass. Good luck and fingers crossed for you tonight!

Don't be so hard on yourself. You didn't do anything wrong- you did it just right. Walk away! It happened to us last Thursday and Friday. Jude went down at 10-11 pm n woke up both nights at 2 and every 30 mins until 6. But now since I'm back to work he's been sleeping 8-5:30 am. I know crazy right?! I used to be the only one up w there baby until 12 every night lol. I always said I'd put him down when he's ready so that's what I do.

In the end... this too shall pass. It was only two nights for us. I hope it passes even faster for u! Hugs ?

Thanks ladies for not ridiculing me!! Lol

I'm glad I'm not alone! She does so good at night!! She has pretty much always slept through the night. 95% of the time. These past few weeks though, just maybe once or twice she will wake up crying shortly after putting her down. But I'll just take 5 mins to soothe her and pat her back, and she's right back to sleep. No biggie. But lastnight was a nightmare!! She cried and fussed and didn't want anything! Nothing seemed to work to soothe her.

We've been spoiled for sure!! Layla has been very good for us, so we are totally not used to this. My poor baby...im gonna give her lots of snuggles when I pick her up

Oh my gosh I could have wrote this myself. We were up at 10,1,4,5 and then up for good at 7 ? I feel dead today and grumpy from the lack of sleep! Then Miller didn't want to nap and got cranky himself, grump mom and cranky baby don't mix. We've tried going for a walk, wearing him, even a car ride. We're both still cranky. I told my husband when he walks in the door I'm showering and drinking me some wine! Ugh, I feel like I've gotten spoiled with how "easy" the past few weeks. Just know you aren't alone!! Maybe it's the moon ? (that's DH answer for everything)

Sounds like a sleep regression. It's tough and it sucks, but it will pass. I find that when I get little sleep, I'm not happy in general. I know you feel guilty, but it's normal. And it's good to let her play independently throughout the day. But push the bad feelings aside, pick that sweet baby up and snuggle her and talk to her a little bit. Remember, it's tough on her too! She's probably tired as well.

Did she fuss at night?? Jack wakes up a lot at night, but I leave him be unless he starts to fuss. He usually puts himself back to sleep after a while. I tried feeding him to sleep before when he was waking almost every hour, but he would wake up as soon as I put him down. Now I just leave him be and he dozes off on his own

I understand completely and don't feel bad. Some mornings I can't even look at her and I'm just rubbing my eyes from exhaustion when my husband comes in and I say, "just take her..."...im like that too and I come around eventually.
