When Baby Won't Stop Spitting Up...

When Baby Won't Stop Spitting Up...

What do you do?! I've fed her, she spit up. Wanted to eat. Spit up again. A lot. Basically she just keeps spitting up and crying her face off. Do I keep trying to feed her my milk?! Obviously it's hurting her belly. What do I do?!! Ugh she's soooo unhappy right now :(

I agree with keeping her upright 30 min after a feed. Also, do you have a nipple shield? If not, invest in one and use it during feeds. She may be swallowing too much air along with the milk, especially if you have a fast let down. The shield might help with that since it helps control the flow of the milk.

When my baby spit up, I try to prop him up kind of like sitting after feeding so he won't spit up if I lay him on his back, he usually spit up. That's really all I know

My 8 year old daughter was like this, in her case it was a milk protein allergy. I cut milk/milk derivatives out and problem was solved after about 3 weeks (my system took that long to clear itself after changing my diet.)

I had this problem with both of my babies. First one was the worst.. I had to switch her formula a few times. But the nurses at the hospital told me do not lay him flat down 30 minutes after eating. That helped with my son. But if he eats too much he spits anyway.

Gripe water helps with most yummy upset. It's helped my guy. He's been spitting up, not sleeping, and overall irritable lol.

Will she take a pacifier? Try to sooth her with a pacifier and patting her bottom. Patting will help if it's gas and it's comforting to most babies.

I think if it is reflux then gripe water would help.

Gripe water helps with spit up?

She's breastfed.

It's Sunday. Dr is closed and tomorrow is Memorial Day.

I would try some gripe water. Zaman loves it and it soothes his tummy right away. In his case it usually happens when he eats too fast. I still feed him again if he wants it.

Talk to your dr. Could be reflux. A lot of spit up can also be a sign that they ate too much.

Do you have any gripe water or gas drops? I would try gripe water first it's been a life saver for Jude.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page

I don't care what ppl think of me, but I'm seriously considering putting my baby up for adoption. I love her with all of heart, but doing this alone is hard. Every single night she just screams to the top of her lungs and I do everything to soothe her. I don't know what to do at all. I wish I had some kind of help. I don't have a single ounce of help. I don't know a single soul in Minnesota either.
