30 weeks today and my line is finally showing up!!!! Anyone else starting to get their dark line??!!!

Mine showed up at like 10 weeks ? But this is my 2nd

Oh right....I forgot about getting that line. I wonder what is the cause behind it?

Yea this is my first. I was starting think I wasn't gonna get one!!' My fiancé actually pointed it out to me. Can't really see down there lol

I didn't get it with either of my other two. @shari it's where you abs split as your tummy stretches.

My husband mentioned it looking red a few weeks ago, but I didn't think anything of it. Hadn't really heard of this yet. If the muscle separates does it feel like an indentation?

It has nothing to do with your abs splitting. It's caused by hormones created by your placenta- the same hormones that make your nipples darker and cause brown spots on some women's faces.

I'm super pale and I'm just starting to see it below my belly button, maybe just a little more faint than your picture. Below my panty line seems to be darker. I didn't think I was going to get it because I'm so pale!

I still haven't gotten one... my belly button is still a shallow innie too. I am super pale.

Mine showed up pretty early on, sometime during the first trimester but i hasn't gotten any darker since it showed up

Not pregnant I have a little line. While pregnant it goes all the way up to my rib cage ?

This is baby number three but my first boy, i have never gotten the line but this time around i got discoloration around my eyes.

This is baby 3 and no line. I have never gotten one with any of my pregnancies so I'm not surprised :) also my belly button stays an inny the whole time which I'm fine with lol it freaks me out seeing the popped out ones haha

I have it on my lower belly but I'm noticing it running up to my sternum too now. It's pretty neat.

Mine started showing at 22 weeks. It's melatonin changing the pigmentation of your skin. I was super suprised to see mine come in.. I am a red head and my skin is pale as can be.. My body must produce more melatonin than I thought.

Oddly I always had a slight line that isn't really that dark what has darker are two patches by my belly button out of nowhere. But I read women get dark patches sometimes with pregnancy ??

Mine is above and below my belly button and it's not a straight line down the middle. It's a squiggle ?
