RANT: Well...I'm a whale!
Had my dr appointment today. Overall, at 30 weeks tomorrow, I have gained 35 lbs this pregnancy!!!!! Omg!! I have no idea how much I'm supposed to be gaining these last 10 weeks, but I think it'll be more than 15 lbs??? Ugh. I don't wanna gain 50+ lbs!!!
I've gained 25lbs, and I'm at 26 weeks, and I was overweight when I started. My doctor hasn't said anything about it, and I have been eating way healthier this pregnancy than last so I try not to let it bother me! My legs and back are starting to hurt though from carrying all this extra top-heavy weight.
30 weeks and was up 22 pounds at my 28 week appointment. I gained 65 my first time around but started this pregnancy 20 pounds heavier. I HATE the scale and hadn't even looked at it until my last appointment. I'm guessing I'll end this one around a 35 pound gain and also dreading summer completely! I went through this same thing almost six years ago too ?
@sweetmelissa yea I started out "overweight" according to the charts. I actually gained 45 lbs in a year BEFORE I got pregnant. Ugh.
I feel you. I'm literally scared to step on the scale. ???. Try not to compare yourself to others though- most of those who have lost weight or not gained any were overweight to begin with as it's not humanely possible to not gain a large amount of weight if you stared out really small since your body must gain enough to support and nourish your baby. Not judging those who started out overweight- just saying there's a reason why some gain 50 and some gain 5- and it's usually because your body does what it needs to. Enjoy the extra goodies for now and we'll get those bodies back soon enough!!! I need to tell myself this too- I HATE seeing the scale rise so much. ???
I'm soooo glad y'all can relate!! I can't stand seeing posts, "I lost 15 lbs and only gained back 5 so far" or something else to that affect.
Also not looking forward to the summer. After birth, I'm gonna be pale and full of cellulite, and maybe stretch marks...wanting to get in a swimsuit will be the LAST thing I wanna do!!! Ugh.
I gained 7 lbs in less than 3 weeks!!!! Ahhh!!! If I keep that up...I'll be gaining another 21 lbs by time this baby comes!!!! I guess I shouldn't be too surprised...I'm not being too cautious with what I'm eating.
How much have you ladies gained during your pregnancy? I'm 34 weeks and have gained 50 lbs :( but was also 10 - 15 lbs underweight when I got pregnant
So I have question I'm 23 weeks and I thought a 9 lbs weight gain was good but now I'm re thinking it what is normal at this stage is it to much I'm stressing out I am really watching what I eat and I really don't over eat sad mommy here 😔
I know everyone’s pregnancy is different, but is it normal if you only gained 25 lbs? I’m already at 36 weeks & 4 days. I have not gained any more lbs since my last appointment which was 3 weeks ago.
I'm 12 weeks and my doctor said I should have gained 10 pounds by now and I've gained 1. Anyone else have problems with gaining weight in the beginning?
I've gained 40 already ?
Also sick of seeing "I've only gained 5 pounds this pregnancy!" posts. I mean, good for those of you who can say that, I wish I could say the same ?
