Early Gender SCANS

Anyone have an early ultrasound to find out the gender?? Before the 20 weeks?? I'm just wondering if the early gender scans, are accurate?! I have my appointment Monday, and I'll be 16 weeks and 4 days. I'm afraid they won't be able to tell me the gender! Or I'm afraid they will get it wrong!

I was told an unconfirmed gender around 15-16 weeks with both of my kids. At 20 weeks it was confirmed and correct.

The "unconfirmed" is what I'm afraid of...

I had one about the exact same 16 weeks 5 days. They said they'd try and find out and they were 90% sure it was a boy. I still had my 20 week to confirm and it was still a boy! It was very obvious and I didn't see much difference in the two scans, honestly

I got mine at 15 weeks and they could clearly tell she was a girl. They're usually VERY experienced and if they are iffy they won't call it one way or another they usually let you come back in a week for another free try.

Did u ladies do a reveal or share the news, or buy gender specific items after an early scan? Or did u still wait for it to be confirmed??

I would say go to one of those places that does the 4D ultrasounds where you pay a small fee like $35 or something so there's a very high chance you will leave knowing. Your baby has genitalia at 12 weeks it's just super tiny so the regular ultrasounds usually can't pick it up until later on. Its very rare that you won't be able to find out and that's usually like if the baby won't open his/her legs or something. This is my 4th pregnancy and I never left not knowing.

I've done both of mine at 16W and both were right but the place I go to has a policy where if they can't tell on the first try or aren't positive, you can come back for free for another scan.

Went to the hospital at 13 weeks and i asked her to show whats hidden down there, and it was obvious that its a boy. A week later at 14 weeks i went to a private scan and i was right - still a boy ☺️

I had one done a day shy of 15 weeks and they said a boy and we say a little penis lol but I'm still doing my 20 week in dec to be extra sure. I pray it's right! We really want a boy this time since we already have a girl.

I had a private ultrasound done at 14 weeks to determine the baby's gender early. It turned out that I'm having a baby girl, but I go for my actual anatomy scan next week and I'm so afraid for some reason they're going to tell me I'm having a boy 😭😩 has this happened to anyone? Or were your early scans confirmed to be right at your actual anatomy scan?
