It could be the change. I'd set his room up 1st and as normal looking for him as possible. It may help a little.

Get the app called The Wonder Weeks. At this stage in development babies are learning distances. They have literally just learn that you can go away and that's scary so they will cry till you come bk xxx

Yes she needs attention the whole time she is awake. Or to be held or I have to wear her.
She has gone from super happy baby to super grumpy needy baby. And puky
Naps are ok if I sit next to her in bed. She then occasionally naps for 2 to 3 hours. Otherwise it's 20 min max.
Needless to say can't get anything done in the house while sitting there. Get to read though so that's nice. And watch her sleep.

Yes they are! Takes me half an hour to fall asleep otherwise I would nap during the day when he does. Takes a couple cups of coffee to feel alive in the morning for the last 2 months ?

@sha00 - agreed! While DD is a bit needy during the day, I'm thankful she's good at night. Last night she slept 630pm to 730am straight through. Sometimes she wakes once, sometimes twice and sometimes not at all. But overall she's a great sleeper at night. Our babies are flipped!

Maybe going through a leap. He is fine and happy as I'm holding him but if he touches the floor/jumperoo/swing he screams and screams. It's so hard to unpack with a baby on your hip ?

Ds was like this about a month ago. Now he's so good at entertaining himself that I'm able to do dishes, laundry have something to eat. He's 5 months + a week. His naps are great! Usually 3-4 40 minute naps and one longer one anywhere from 1-2.5 hours. Happiest baby ever during the day and very independent until night time rolls around,.....then he's screaming for me constantly!!! Think I'd rather have a needy baby during the day lol

Ugh me too! DH is doing a training class from home all week for work so he's seeing how grumpy DD gets in the afternoon from refusing to nap. She gives me 3-4 thirty minute naps a day. On a good day. She screams for naps and I hold her to go to sleep. She wants to be held all day! I have to let her fuss a lot because I have a 2.5 year old too. But during his nap, I have to hold her for 3 hours so she doesn't wake him. DH now fully understands why I don't get much of anything done all day. He's never said anything about it but I know he gets home and wonders why I hand off both kids to him and escape to the kitchen to cook dinner for 30-45 minutes while the living room is a mess. Now he knows. lol. DD turn 5 months last week.

Oh good it's not just me! Yes my baby cries all the time especially when I put her down and walk away. She fights naps then cries all day because she's tired. She needs so much attention, it's hard to do anything else. She's 5 months today.

I'm right there with you. My son either has to be touching me or have 100% of my attention all the time he is awake.
