Hip/butt pain

Who else has it?

Комментарии

Does the pain travel down the leg and make your leg/foot numb? If so that's sciatica if it's localized to hip/butt that's si joint, I had that bad in second tri, saw an osteopath that specializes in pregnancy and she fixed me

Yup, she said it was sciatica. She told me only cure for it is delivery. Come on 5 weeks!

Sciatica? That's my best guess. The large nerve bundle that runs through your pelvis is being compressed by the baby and causes pain/numbness/tingling in the butt/hip/back of legs. I have it and found that if it gets intense I can get relief by getting down on all fours and doing cat-cow stretches. Good luck!

I'm pretty sure the previous posters are right! I have a doctors appt today and I'm going to ask to double check.

I've got that! Thought it was siaticha but saw a physio and she said that because of the hormone relaxin that relaxes some muscles, sometimes it can relax the wrong muscles and my thigh muscle was in spasm and as a result other muscles were working to compensate when I walked which lead to the hip pain. I got a pregnancy support belt which has helped a lot, :)

I had it for about 6 weeks with my first baby and then it miraculously disappeared. Could be sciatica. Good luck!

It could mean that your hip or pelvis is out. I regularly see a chiropractor to put it back into place
