Yup, she said it was sciatica. She told me only cure for it is delivery. Come on 5 weeks!
Sciatica? That's my best guess. The large nerve bundle that runs through your pelvis is being compressed by the baby and causes pain/numbness/tingling in the butt/hip/back of legs. I have it and found that if it gets intense I can get relief by getting down on all fours and doing cat-cow stretches. Good luck!
I'm pretty sure the previous posters are right! I have a doctors appt today and I'm going to ask to double check.
I just started having this happens a few days ago and I was like...what the f*** !!!!. I didn't know what was going on....this baby #4 n this was new to me...it feels like the baby wanna cum out my ass...Lol...that's how bad my butt be hurting with a lot of pressure.....uggghhhh that sucks
I've got that! Thought it was siaticha but saw a physio and she said that because of the hormone relaxin that relaxes some muscles, sometimes it can relax the wrong muscles and my thigh muscle was in spasm and as a result other muscles were working to compensate when I walked which lead to the hip pain. I got a pregnancy support belt which has helped a lot, :)
Does the pain travel down the leg and make your leg/foot numb? If so that's sciatica if it's localized to hip/butt that's si joint, I had that bad in second tri, saw an osteopath that specializes in pregnancy and she fixed me
