When would it be appropriate to go to the hospital over a headache? Ive had a migraine since I woke up yesterday morning. It is making me throw up. Nothing os working. Ove tried sex, shower, cold rag, laying in a dark quite room, sleep, tylenol, nothing is helping at all.
@braindeadmama id have to find one that takes my insurance, plus my insurance is about to end as well so it'll be hard to find someone that will actually take me in as a patient
@braindeadmama where i am pregnant i cant take anything other than tylenol that i am aware of. I've had appointments to see neurologist, but all of them where i live want to play games and dont take it seriously. I don't even know if the growths on my brain have grown, gone away, if they are cancerous or anything.@stacy7 i can't stand coffee unfortunately. @mrschanandlerbong95 Ive Consulted With My Doctor And She Has refered me to a neurologist but they wont take me serious (i have had mris showing there are masses on my brain) and they just wanna play games.
@ncpmomma, I’m sorry to hear that. Based on the additional information I would absolutely recommend for you to consult with a Doctor.
This happened to me a few times I ordered a cold ice coffee and drank 1/4 of it bam headache gone
@ncpmomma, sorry i wasn’t paying attention to the pregnant part 🤦🏼♀️ you could always crush them and add them to a smoothie! Have you seen anyone for migraines yet?
@braindeadmama i can't take pills and 99% of vitamins are horse pills. Also being pregnant i am limited on what i can take.
Have you considered starting a regimen of migraine medicine? I just started mine. Most of them are vitamins
@mrschanandlerbong95 i have two growths on my brain which i believe are why i get headaches and or migraines every day. I have to take childrens tylenol because i physically can't swallow a pill, i never drink soda and asked my mom for a coke.@bbhausfeld77 thank you, im just glad my little one is at her dads house this weekend.
It sounds like a migraine, at least that’s how mine are. Have you tried drinking a can of soda with your Tylenol? Morse migraine medication has caffeine in it, so it may help. Other wise, call your Dr. More than likely there is an on call nurse who can give you some idea of what else you can do
@ncpmomma, yeah, I’m about to struggle with that as well. They only take me seriously because i had a brain bleed. But if you’re ever interested in knowing the vitamins my specialist has me on, I’ll gladly tell you!
