TIPS NEEDED !! My nearly 2 year old hates me brushing his teeth but will sit like this chewing on his tooth brush the entire time hes in the bath. Now i know he needs his teeth brushed properly so i was wondering if any of you have any tips and tricks you use
I'm abit horrible when it comes to brushing teeth! Haha my 21 month old hated it so much! But I lay her on our bed when getting ready for bed and just scrub her teeth! And hold her arms! It's sounds horrible but to be honest she needs them done and she has got abit better with it now xx
Luckily my 2 year old loves brushing her teeth, character tooth brushes are a good start so maybe let your little one choose their own toothbrush in the shop. When we started brushing teeth I let Olivia brush my teeth while I did hers - she absolutely loved it and found it funny when I made silly faces or whatever. It doesn't need to be a proper teeth clean like we do though so don't put too much pressure on yourself x
Oh yes i forgot to add i do put tooth paste on it before he chews it. So do you reckon for now this will be enough for his teeth. Im so over paranoid now as his 5 yeah old cousin has just had teeth removed because they were rotten !!
Dad pins her I scrub the teeth!
It's not as brutal as it sounds tho - we always give the option of being a 'big girl' and having her turn first etc and tell her that we will have to hold her if she doesn't cooperate. It's 50:50 now whether she just lets me do it or if she's pinned!
I'm soft on most things, but not teeth brushing. X
We tried a few different things... Threatening no treats, saying there's a lion in her mouth, eventually OH stumbled upon sugarbugs. Now if we say there's a sugarbug in her mouth, she opens wide and lets us clean her teeth thoroughly.
It might be worth trying a different brush and/or toothpaste as well, Bethany wouldn't let us brush with boots spearmint paste but she doesn't mind colgate milk teeth paste.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
hi ladies! so I had a c section yesterday and I'm wondering if you have any tips for dealing with recovery? thanks! 😊
Any tips on what to give a teething baby? He doesn't like the teething toys😣 any tips?
Do you guys know any tips or any types of food i need to eat to produces more milk for my baby?😭
Do any of you notice any odd behaviours with your toddlers? Charlie does things which to me looks odd or it just may be that I haven’t seen another child do it before, I’d show you a video but obviously I can’t do that on here... it’s like his whole body tenses up, he clenches his teeth and will do this weird thing with his hands. He will be three in June if that makes a difference?
My daughter used to hate it. I let her pick a new tooth brush, which was paw patrol, she uses the blue toothpaste which is Minnie Mouse, she won't touch a mint toothpaste. Then I give them a good clean for asking as she lets me, she then stands on her little stool
and finishes them herself.
