16 months xx

14months for my oldest he broke the side and was flipping over onto my bed, and 2 year old is still in his cot. 2 year old doesn't try climbing out, he loves bedtime ? I feel his safer in the cot for now in case his brother leaves the safety gate open x

10 months as he started walking at 9 months and one morning climbed and flipped out his cot so put him in a toddler bed as couldn't risk him climbing out again and hurting himself x

15 months cos he started climbing out! Wish I could of held off cos he started getting out of bed 10+ times a night wandering around and playing!! But couldn't risk him falling when climbing out the cot x

Mine was just too big for the cot - rolling into the sides and whacking her head in the night etc. Never tried to climb out or anything but she just looked uncomfortable in there.

Well andrew keeps hanging on and trying to climb up the bars, shaking the bars, fighs going into the cot. Not an expert bit thats what andrew has been doing x

Just after his 1st birthday. I couldn't get him in his cot anymore and he knew how to safely climb in and out of bed, so we changed to cotbed with bed guard x

Following. I want to know what the signs are too!

My son is 25 months and still in the cot. He's happy in the for now. Will take the sides when he's being potty trained.

Sorry to jump on the post but what are the signs they need to move into a toddler bed? Xx

Gracie-May is 13 months and I've moved her into a single bed, she loves it. She was constantly waking herself up by hitting the sides of the cot. X

Ok thanks ladies. Andrew is 18 months and started showing signs he needs to be in his big boy bed trying to hold off for as long as possible though

My youngest is 22 months and wont be leaving his cot any time soon. He would be up non stop if I put him in a bed :(

22 months for us too - she was in a cot (as opposed to cot bed) and just ran out of room! First few weeks were fine. Last couple of weeks she's been up and down for an hour some nights at bedtime ? but hoping that's passed now! She's just turned 2.

My lb been a big bed for few months now he's two in April he sleeps so good in itx

Sam was around 14-15months - never had any real issues with him getting out of bed, he took to it really well x
