You probably know this already but I've got a pyjama top which lo lays on, it's super soft and smells of me. When I put her down she buries her head to the side to nestle near it. We still swaddle a little bit not as tight as we used to. Some people also say a hot water bottle on her bed before to make it all cosy. Marcie sleeps in a sleepy head so she's nice and cosy.

Also try not to give off that what you're doing is a big deal, they can sense allot more than we give credit for.

Make sure the lighting is as close to what is in your bedroom! If it's pitch black in your bedroom make sure it is in his room and if there is usually a bit of light in yours make sure there is in his! Good luck xx

Ahh it failed Andrew wouldn't settle at all just laid there screaming so I cuddled him got him to sleep put him down and stated screaming again as soon as he was in our room he was fine lol maybe he just wasent ready xxx

Aw that's what Quinn was like, we brought a travel cot for the side of our bed, he's not ready either bless he just wants to be with his mummy xx

This won't help but we put lo in her room before she was old enough to know what was going on.

She was 8 weeks and sleeping through but she was such a noisy sleeper so we're all sleeping much better.

Andrew may take a while but he will get used to it xx

Freddie's in a travel cot in our room too- I know they're the same age. It was me not ready for the transition though, not him!!
