Well we have been suppositories to help him poop I put one in and within 5 mins he was pooping so much softer and he has been so much happier all day bless him and is now fast asleep If I can give him one a day to help him poop till his body is strong enough to do it himself it will be problem solved fingers crossed xx

My LB had exactly the same. Had him on C&G reflux milk which helped with the Sickness he used to get but made problems the other end!! Had to take him to hour of hours surgery had to put an enema in his bum to make it easier for him to go, it was so awful I had to help push the poo out for him! We got given gavison which didn't help, then lactose which again made things go the opposite way!! Really hope you get some answers xxx

My baby was like this. He's 14 weeks now.. I gave him cooled boiled water between feeds. It seemed to help. He would struggle to push the first bit out which looked exactly like that then after when I lifted his legs up it would come out like Mr whippy ice cream.. Worked for me :)

Poor little guy. Theo went through it but he was old enough to have prunes which worked a treat. When he's 4 months old you can give prune juice. Try to give him some extra water maybe?

Poor little thing. It must be so painful :( It is so horrible to be constipated for an adult let alone little baby :((( I hope doctors will help real soon. Bless his little heart :( xxx

My boy was the same on the anti reflux milk,used to scream when pooing and there was blood too. We had to change him to comfort milk and get rantidine for the reflux , he is still a really sicky baby but he poos great on the comfort milk and that was upsetting him more than the reflux. Hope u get sorted soon it's awful watching them go through it.

Poor wee mite! Try giving him a few ounces of cooled boiled water and sugar. Helped my little one when he was constipated. He was straining for days then tried him with sugar and water and he had a runnier dirty nappy that evening xx

Lactulose. Massage Vaseline on his bum hole and hold his legs right up to his tummy that will help him get it all out. When my lb was younger I had to do this everytime xx

Cow and gate is a thin milk and was told to give my boy it (he was already on it) I'd make him a appioment and tell them it's making him bleed and see if they give u sank if they don't think he needs it which is what they said to me after 5 days of not going then get it was only given stuff after 9 days of not going, I don't know anything about reflux but I would ring midwife and ask about the ready mixed milk as my sister in law gave it to her normally powder milk feed baby and said she keeps going poo x

Hahahah u know what that's what Iv done hahah kept it in a nappy bag and taking it down they can't let my baby go through this xx

I'd take that nappy to the doctors and when they try and dismiss you bang it on his desk ??

Maybe try a different brand of milk.

My eldest had this issue on the SMA and anti reflux from aptamil. The cow and gate one never gave issues.

I second the Vaseline trick it worked every time but was gross. Also used to leave him lying on his changing mat without a nappy on helped. Hope he feels better soon xx

It really is nat its getting stuck in his bum and he is screaming his lungs out every time :( xx

put Vaseline round his bum every nappy change, my boy was very bad his was like pea shingle off the driveways and went 9 days with out going, My boy got prescribed lactose and was given serpostiee he was around 3 weeks old I know u can buy lactose from a chemist, he was on 5ml twice a day at 3 months old u could get some and put it in with his milk also give him some of the ready mixed milk they have more sugars in them all my children have only ever had the ready mixed bottles of milk coz the powder milk binds them up bad x

Try and give him water in between feeds if u can hun x

I get this with my little one! He's just over 7 weeks and doctor put him on gaviscon which to be honest isn't working (constantly throwing up after feeds) His dad had a milk allergy when he was little so we're thinking the same. Doctors/health visitor just don't seem bothered at the min :(

My lg has always been constipated and she has milk allergy too. Not sure if it's been mentioned on your other post but bicycle legs really helped us, especially doing it whilst she was straining seemed to help her get it out. It's not nice to see at all xx

My little boy used to have this issue, when he started to strain I would take his nappy off and hold his legs up and he would manage to go then xx

It's heart breaking it really is hearing him literally screaming and sobbing in pain and there is noting I can do to help him :( xxx

Oh bless him!! My lb was like this and turned out he had a milk allergy. I really hope the doctors give him something to help him poorly little boy xx
