Christmas ideas

I know it's early but my MIL keeps talking about Christmas and what she's going to get Andrew and its got me thinking... I don't want to get him loads as he will only be 5 months old and won't have a clue what's going on and as his granny is getting him his high chair and his animal rocker thing he can sit on I have no idea what I can get him... What will a 5 nearly 6 month old be interested in and will use?? Xx

They like light up ans musical toys at that stage i found. My son was in the jumparoo at 4 months but if u held off that's a good one. My son will be 13 months this Xmas so for his birthday and Christmas iv written a list I basically went through argos catalogue at all the 12 months plus toys and picked some of those x

My pal scout. £18 from Argos. You can program to say your sons name and also spell it. It is a learning toy. Suitable from 6 months to 3 years. It has loads of nursery rhymes and other things like you can program it to say your sons favourite food, colour and animal

Sorry just to add my son outgrew his jumperoo very quickly 10 months now and not interested in it at all. In hindsight I wish I never got one brand new so maybe try and find a second hand one and save some money :)

We got a selection of gifts for various age groups, shape sorters, ball pit, stackers, different textures toys like ball sets from mothercare. That way as she grew out of one toy, she had another one ready for her.

Definately jumperoo!

Archie's 5 and a half months and likes his foam mats he can roll about on, rattles, he's got a walker round my mums that he likes too.

My friends 5 month old likes going in a ball pit so that could be an idea.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

We've decided to start potty training our 22 month old since he can pull down his pants, we've thrown ourselves into it. Now the question is, can 22 month olds be manipulative 😳? This child is something else. If we're having him do something he doesn't want to do, like going down for a nap, he'll start saying potty, if we let him go, he just runs all over the place, I guess forgetting he wanted to use the potty 🤦🏿 ♀ Is this a thing? I just go get him and have him sit on the potty and I tell him, "if you say you want to use the potty, then you must use the potty." I feel like I should work on him not "telling lies." But idk what this behavior is. Can 22 month olds be manipulative, and a liar? Someone told me "he's intelligent to know that saying potty will get him out of something he doesn't want to do." I say... this some bull... 😑😒 Another thing, when I try to get him to look at me when I'm trying to tell him he did something wrong, he does not make eye contact. I get down on my knee in front of him, he looks away, I cup his chin with my hand to have him face me, or say "Nordo, look at mommy please," he averts his eyes... you guys 😓 somedays I feel like he's a sociopath 😬 I don't say that out loud though 😅 ugh, I know, I'm CRAZY, but man... what are the chances? lol

Who else has financial issues within their relationship?? Or am I just lucky 🙄🙄

Who else has financial issues within their relationship?? Or am I just lucky 🙄🙄 Not sure if I'm being just mean or what. But my SO used $160 from me this morning. I gave him my bank card because he needed $60 to get material for work. His boss was going to give it back to him at the end of the day. So instead of $60 he took out $160. Which I was a little pissed. (One of the reasons I just can't let him use my card. I have to go get the money from the atm myself if I'm giving it to him) then, tonight he asked for $20 incase his boss didn't give it to him. So I gave him my card not even thinking because I had kids running around me. I asked if he could pick up a few things that were out of and told him he could use my card if he has too. And I even told him not to get the expensive brands or anything m generic is fine. So he does. But when he does he decides to go Easter shopping for the kids. (Not sure if he used to my card or not) but if he did, I'd be even more pissed. He knows I have bills to pay on top of giving my son's school money that I owe them. He goes to a private school and I haven't paid in 5 months. It's towards the end of school now so I need to pay it. He knows this month I am extremely tight because of the school, im already in debt and my credit score sucks. I have been trying not to get in more debt and actually fix my credit. I'm so frustrated. It's like we have different priorities and different ideas on this. I feel like I'm completely drowning!!

Not mom related at all but mom dog related! We have a 6 month old beagle and we are having issues with him going potty in his crate! We have been letting him out every hour and he won't go but moment we put him back like 5 minutes he goes! Any suggestions? Bad enough I have a 15 month old now and 6 month old puppy that is doing this! He's a good puppy besides this! And he won't go in the house at all but happily go in his crate! I don't get it!
