Just got my one month old to pee AND poop in the potty ☺ #godiaperfree
has anyone experienced a child who doesn't want to use the potty? My son fully understands the process of using the potty and knows when he has to go but he just doesn't want to use the potty. He loves diapers/pullups 😐. I have tried getting him his favorite underwear, a potty with one of his favorite characters, I've tried just sitting him on it with a book as well as reading the potty book. I even took a suggestion from our pediatrician to just put underwear on him without anything else so that when he had an accident it would be uncomfortable and encourage him to use the potty.... nope. He just pooped in them and didn't say a word until I smelled it... 😞
Need some serious tips on potty training! Walker knows when he pees and poops but when i have his diaper off he just pees wherever and then wants his diaper back on 🙃
Potty Training Boys!!! Okay, sorry this is so long, but my ds turned 3 this summer. We started potty training in January. That's 11 months. I'm so frustrated I don't know what to do!!! Most of the time, he will pee in the toilet and not in his pants. He only has pee accidents when he wants attention. But for the life of me, I cannot get him to stop pooping in his underwear!!! I have tried everything. Literally. We have done M&Ms and then upped the reward to marshmallows. We have done sticker charts, let him pick out cool undies, special toys, positive reinforcement, negative reinforcement, spanking when he just CHOOSES to poop in his pants. I have tried the 3 Day Potty Training method, taking him at timed intervals, making him sit there when I know he has to go. Sometimes he will say he has to go and then use the toilet, but he WILL NOT poop on the toilet if he does not want to. It's really just about a choice now. And when he does poop or pee in his pants, he doesn't even care. He will sit in it and continue playing. I'm so over cleaning out poopy underwear, scrubbing my couch and floors, and trying to get the smell out! UGH! Please help!
Not pooping on the potty My son was 3 in November he's been potty trained (pee) for almost a year now (he still wears pull-ups to bed sometimes he's dry other times he's not) anyway he never has accidents during the day ever. But he won't poop in the potty. He poops in pull-ups. When he has to poop he asks for a pull-up I ask if he wants to poop on the potty and he always says no. So I put the pull-up on him cause I want him to poop. How do I get him to ditch the pull-ups and poop in the potty?!?! Please help

I've been potty training my daughter and I noticed that if she sits on the potty to pee and gets up and I ask her if she has to poop or if her tummy is hard I tell her to sit back down and finish.. Normally she will go poop in matter of minutes then... Good luck.

Sometimes it's constipation, try offering him water more so he doesn't get into the habit of holding a lot.

Sticker charts are also cool for kids post one on the wall and give him a sticker each time he puts the poopy in the potty

Give him a prune with dinner then make him sit on the toilet in the morning with a phone until he poops. The prune well help him regulate daily, the phone will keep him settled and get him Joachim to the feeling of poop in toilet. After he does it celebrate the heck out of him?

My sister leaves with me and we had the same issue with my three year old nephew. Good old bribery worked for us. He loved the mini trains in the mystery bags. Then pez dispensers did it. Good luck. One day it just clicked for him.
