No rest for the wicked

Damien is still on sleep strike. We tried the white noise recommendation, he just crawls around his crib looking for the noise.

I started before Christmas then he got an ear infection and I had to start all over on Sunday...

I NEVER thought I would do that but my first was AMAZING sleeper and still is!!

I know that we all feel mean, but they have to learn to sleep on their own! Good luck!

We started CIO as well. On Saturday night it took an hour and a half for her to get to sleep. Last night we were down to an hour and she slept for 7 without waking up. I’m hoping it will just take a few more nights for her to get used to it. ?

Ohh and we started on 3-5-7 min intervals. First night - hr of crying then 40 min... 20 min and we are now under 5 min every night.

I didn’t want to be that mom to do CIO. But man does it work. On day 4 - she was falling asleep within 5 min. We still struggle a bit with her mid-night wake ups - she cries at those way longer - sometimes half an hour. But once we put her in for the night around 8:30-9pm she is out for at least 5 hrs.

@lina.. I just looked it up and we're almost 100% sure our boy is going through his 7th leap.. cause he hasn't been sick or anything.. just a stage 5 clingy whine monster

We have been having the same problem with our little one for 2 months now since she first became sick and started teething. It’s horrible, but we’ve just had to let her sleep in the rock n play because with 2 full time jobs, we need sleep! We’re at a loss of what to do to get her back in her crib in her room. ?

He would fall asleep with us holding him and we could transfer him right to the crib, but now he wakes up immediately the second we even move while holding him
