I can't be the only one that thinks trying to make mommy friends is a lot like dating. There's a couple down the road with a 6 month old DH and I met while I was wearing Damien and they offered me a carrier that they never used. I havent talked to the husband much, but I really like the mom. When I'm outside and we see each other we talk and exchange pleasantries but that's it. I really want to be friends with her but honestly don't know how to approach it. I feel like our babies are too young for an "official" playdate and if I suggest it I'll seem like a weirdo. I have also thought about convienently running into her while walking with Damien, but am afraid it will be obvious and I'll look like a creeper. LMAO, I'm so lost. This I why I didn't have a boyfriend until I was 20 and even then he persued me, lol I've always been an antisocial weirdo, I'm just tired of feeling isolated.

I feel a bit hypocritical for advising you on this, because I'm the worst at this. The worst part being that I don't even try! ?
With that said... I think you're making too big of a thing of this. Chances are she might have cabin fever just like you. Next time you happen to pass her ask her if she'd like to go for a mommy moan over a cup of coffee ?
Doesn't matter that your babies are still so young, yourself and this lady can share pregnancy and birth stories, how you're coping so far.. and of course give each other tips if you've picked up any. Things will naturally fall into place as the coffee flows :)

@blueberry, thats actually great advice. We do have a dunkin donuts a quick walk up the road maybe next time I see her walking I'll ask if she wants to go grab a cup with me and Damien.
